Biography[]
Kirby Super Star[]
The Great Cave Offensive[]
He serves as the boss of the Sub-Tree. Using his blowhole, he can blow out blippers and rocks, which can both be shot back at him. Other than that, Fatty Whale tries to ram Kirby with his body. Once defeated, the player may continue progressing through the game.
Milky Way Wishes[]
He serves as the boss of Aqualiss. Once again, the player can continue progressing through the game after Fatty Whale is defeated.
The Arena[]
Fatty Whale is fought once again in The Arena gamemode.
Helper to Hero[]
Fatty Whale also appears in the Helper to Hero gamemode. This time, instead of fighting Fatty Whale with Kirby, the former is to be fought by one of the 20 helpers in the game.
Kirby Super Star Ultra[]
Fatty Whale plays the same role in Kirby Super Star Ultra as he does in Kirby Super Star. In Milky Way Wishes and Helper to Hero, Fatty Whale has a different color palette and more health, with red skin rather than his normal blue skin.
Kirby Fighters 2[]
Though Fatty Whale himself doesn't appear in Kirby Fighters 2, he still makes a cameo in the game as a hat Kirby can wear called the Whale Splasher. Of course, the hat is used for the water copy ability.
Trivia[]
- In Kirby's German translation, he is named Moby Kick, an obvious reference to Moby Dick.
