The Kingdom of Faubley or Faubrey are major antagonists in The Rising of the Shield Hero franchise.
History[]
While riding on a wagon, Filo peaked outside and asked Naofumi about an advanced town which was rife with steam-engine tech of some sort and mystery novel-esque cars. Naofumi also notices a weapon shop selling guns with the queen asking if he was interested in them, Naofumi was just making a comment on how different the place was from Melromarc thanks to the advancements.
Queen Mirelia also noted that Faubley was a powerful nation which weaker countries do not dare to enter conflict with Naofumi remembering that the weapons rely on the power of the user. He also recalled about games where guns were a challenge to handle. The queen also assured that Faubley will just know all four holy heroes including Naofumi will come to meet the king of Faubley.
The Faubley bloodline itself made a history of taking husbands and wives during times of the four holy heroes and the seven star heroes. Mirelia herself being deified in Silvelt while children of royalty went off to serve in large nations and eventually get married. However, the women never got as spread as the men, leading to Mirelia considering that there were scummy individuals within the men.
They proceed to enter the castle when they enter the garden where the party proceeds to follow a red carpet and a set of stairs to the room where they will get an audience with the king who was not exactly the smartest, but still had enough brains to defend his authority. But Queen Mirelia was not finding him trustworthy due to an incident in the past and Malty got friendly with him with the queen positing that she had hopes of taking advantage.
The queen also looked down on him due to treating women as toys and was afraid of him in her younger days.
