Biography[]
Early life[]
While Felix's early life and origins before becoming a vampire and joining Volturi's clan are mostly unknown, but he was vampirized by Aro at some point in the medieval periods and served the vampire overlord as his top enforcer, guard and executioner, a position which he keeped for centuries, by helping Volturi with enforcing their tyrannical and frequently unfair laws. While Jane and Alec were Volturi's top assets as the clan's chief security guards, but Felix symbolized the physical strength and was the most effective combatant of the guard in terms of physical strength and hand-to-hand combat prowess.
New Moon[]
In New Moon, Felix and Demetri first appeared in the series and were tasked by their master Aro to capture (and destroy) Edward, if Cullen would reveal himself to the human population in Volterra in the middle of the St. Marcus Day festival. When the vampire guards arrived, they noticed Edward with Bella, and order the protagonist couple to have her join them back and follow Felix and Demetri to the Volturi's lair. However, the argument of the vampire security guards was declined and broken, until Jane arrived and ended this argument by insisting on Edward and Bella to follow them on the orders of the guards's superiors. The protagonists reluctantly agreed and followed the clan's security guards. In the Volturi's chamber, Felix helped leaders to hold the members of the Cullen family while Aro, Caius, and Marcus argued and debated on their decision of what to do with Alice, Bella, and Edward, because the protagonists nearly violated the tyrannical laws of the Volturi clan. Felix declared that he was growing thirsty, but Aro ordered his security guard to be patient and wait until the vampire overlord would finish his verdict and give him permission to act if the subjects of the discussion would do something out of the laws.
When Edward, Bella, and Alice abandoned the clan's main chamber, Felix was ordered by the vampire overlords to give Edward his gray robe for the coverage from humans of the town.
In the movie adaptation, Felix was ordered to grant Edward a red robe. When Aro ordered Felix to kill Bella due to her knowledge of vampires, Edward resisted and tried to oppose the powerful vampire guard. The two vampires started to fight, but, however, despite Edward's best efforts, the forces weren't equal and Felix eventually overpowered his opponent, and almost murdered Edward, until Aro ordered his enforcer to stop.
Eclipse[]
In the third installment, Felix and the other members of the Volturi army arrived to the battle field right after the Cullens eventually defeated the newborn army. At the end of the battle, the vampire guard moved in to the center of the field in order to confront the Cullens, and was debating, along with his comrade Jane, what the vampire royalty had do with the Cullen coven after what happened and Cullens risked to reveal the existence of the vampire world to humanity. Felix was also the guard that burned Bree after the Volturi decided to "dispose" of her, after the latter violated and broke the Volturi's laws. When the vampire security guard was willing to execute Bree in order to punish her, the young vampire accepted her death without a single thought of fear.
The guard was later seen arguing and deliberating with Jane, Alec, and Demetri in the movie adaptation of Eclipse by regarding their inaction on the newborn army. Felix worried that their army's continued inaction will make other covens to question the Volturi's effectiveness. When the guard suggested that they should consult Aro with this argument, Jane used her powers on Felix to torture him as a punishment and reminded her comrade that Aro's decisions were always being watched.
Breaking Dawn[]
In the final installment of the series, Felix travelled to Forks with the Volturi army after Irina reported to them the Cullens's creation of an immortal child, which later turned out to be a great misunderstanding. The Cullens's coven met and argued with the royal clan and when the fear of the battle between the two armies was getting closer and closer, Felix expressed sadness with the thought of killing Bella, whom by now has taken immortality. While Aro interrogated the Cullens' witnesses, Felix was one of three guards to protect their chief (the others being Demetri and Renata). The leader of the guard returned to Volterra with his fellow comrades of the coven, after the confrontation between the armies ended "almost" peacefully. Luckily, the only casualty of the argument had being Irina, whom Caius executed for her false allegations.
In the movie adaptation of the final installment Breaking Dawn - Part 1, Felix and Demetri make an appearance in the post-credit scene where they dispose of Bianca, after Aro confirmed that she was unworthy.
In Breaking Dawn - Part 2, Felix appeared together with Demetri in the throne chamber when Irina arrived to report her masters about the Cullens' "crime". Later, when Carlisle was explaining to Bella and Jacob about the immortal children and the Denali coven's connection to them, Felix was shown in the flashback with Demetri, executing Tanya, Kate, and Irina's mother, Sasha. After Aro gathered information he needed to figure out the Cullens' plans, the vampire guard duo then murdered Toshiro on Aro's orders.
The ccoven then went to the clearing to hold trial for Renesmee, the supposed immortal child of Edward and Bella. Felix and Santiago helped Caius execute Irina for her mistake. In Alice Cullen's vision of what would happen should Aro decide to fight, Felix was shown battling multiple vampires, and kills Seth Clearwater and Jasper Hale, which makes Seth's older sister, Leah, hunger for vengeance. In the end, the battle did not start, and Felix had left the clearing with his coven after the argument ended up approximately peacefully.
