The Fence Shooter is a supporting antagonist in the 1991 film JFK. He is an unamed assassin wearing a police officer uniform who fires the final shot that kills President John F. Kennedy.
He was portrayed by Richard Rutowski, who also portrayed Axon in The Holy Mountain.
Biography
Little is known about the Shooter other than he was a memebr of C Team in an assassination sqaud sanctioned by several theorized organizations such as the CIA and the Mafia. On November 22nd 1962 in Dallas, Texas, the three man team moves in behind the picket fence above the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza while two other teams occupy the Schoolbook Depository and the Dal-Tex buildings.
After five shots were fired at Kennedy's motorcade, the Fence Shooter delivers the final shot which hits Kennedy in the head. It is unkown what happened to the Fence Shooter after the shooting but fellow assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was caught and was charged with the assassination.
