Foxy the Pirate is an antagonist in the Fazbear Frights anthology series, serving as the main antagonist of Step Closer, the first story in the fourth book of the same name, as well as serving many other cameo appearances in books both before and after Step Closer.
Appearance[]
Foxy retains the appearance of his classic counterpart.
Biography[]
Fetch[]
When Greg visits an old Freddy's restaurant, he finds four deactivated adult-sized animatronics behind the show stage's curtains, which are implied to be Foxy, Freddy, Bonnie and Chica.
Lonely Freddy[]
Although Foxy doesn't make a physical appearance, the Yarg Foxy toy, which both Alec and his sister Hazel want, is based on him. It's also revealed that Alec likes dressing up as Foxy, similarly to the big brother in Five Nights at Freddy's 4.
The New Kid[]
When Devon, Mick and Kelsey explore an abandoned Freddy's building, they find Foxy deactivated inside Pirate Cove, his hook being the only part they are able to see.
Step Closer[]
Foxy first appears in Pete's dream, singing a song about Pete losing his arm and his eye. When Pete is forced to stay at Freddy's to look after Chuck, he hears two employees talking about how Foxy had been taken in the maintenance room. He decides to scare Chuck by taking him there, but when the two enter they see mysterious black marks on the walls; Foxy then starts singing the same song Pete heard in his dream. Thereafter, Pete starts suffering several incidents, all of which end up with Pete almost losing an arm and an eye; this leads Chuck to believe that Foxy somehow cursed Pete with bad luck. During the school carnival's festival (which is pirate themed), Pete hallucinates, and sees Foxy chasing him trough the mirror hall. , he decides to consider Chuck's theory and to reach Freddy's with his little brother to face the animatronic once and for all, but he's ran over by a truck on the way to the pizzeria. Pete is then taken to an hospital, paralyzed and unable to speak. The doctors deem him dead and decide to take off his hand and his eye so that they may be transplanted to someone who needs them (since Pete's mother signed to make him become an organ donator in case he would die). Just before the gruesome operation, Pete hears Foxy's song playing in his head. Four weeks later, Chuck comes back at Freddy's to see Foxy's show, but the animatronic doesn't come out of Pirate Cove.
Epilogue 6[]
It is revealed that The Stitchwraith has got hold of Foxy's remains, and has taken them to an abandoned factory, where he destroys them with a trash compactor towards the beginning of the Epilogue. This confirmed Foxy was indeed haunted by Andrew's agony. Later on, William Afton's spirit uses all the pieces collected by the Stitchwraith, including Foxy's remains, to create the Miscreation.
Epilogue 7[]
When the Miscreation is pulled apart by the Marionette, Foxy's remains sinks into the lake along with all the other robotic parts which composed the mechanical amalgamation.
What We Found[]
Various parts and costumes previously belonging to Foxy animatronics are used at Fazbear's Fright as decorations, and there is a statue resembling him on the stage. A Foxy arm is present inside Pirate Cove; towards the end of the story, Springtrap uses it to attack Hudson.
Sea Bonnies[]
He's the one of the protagonists of in-universe book, Foxy and Bonnie on the High Seas, which Mott reads to Rory.
Felix the Shark[]
He's mentioned when Dirk and his friends talk about Freddy's.
