The Schidler Corporation, also called Schidler Corp or SC for short, are the secondary antagonists of the Amazon Prime TV series Hunters, being a company controlled by the Fourth Reich. It's headed by Katarina Löw, who in-turn is under the command of The Colonel, the leader of the Nazi underground. It's mission is to purge the minority groups in the United States to pave way for the Fourth Reich's conquest of the world.
History[]
Schidler Corporation was founded by Katarina Löw under the wing of The Colonel - who was the escaped Eva Braun - at an unknown point after the Second World War ended, but at least years before the mid 1970s. As The General and The Colonel sought to relaunch their conquest of the world and elimination of minorities worldwide, Schidler Corp. played a major part, developing a virus known as "the Solution" that would be able to swiftly kill their targets en masse, with Katarina Löw spearheading research and production of the Solution. Children were the prime demographic and test subjects of the Solution, with hundreds or even thousands dying as a result of years of poisoning.
The Solution was perfected in 1976, but was developed in Argentina where Schidler Corp. is based, but also where sanctions have been set upon by the United States, along with most other South American nations. Thus, Schidler and the Nazis placed people into American politics, most notably Biff Simpson, who graduated over a course of 30 years to US undersecretary of state. Biff was to manipulate POTUS in the background into acting in favor of Schidler Corp; to have him lift South American sanctions and allow for the Solution to be brought into the United States for distribution. Meanwhile, the Solution was to be placed into corn syrup when it did arrive, which was advertised by Schidler as a sugar substitute, and Katarina convinced brand ambassadors to sign off on the plan.
Schidler Corp. also enacted a secret terrorist attack on New York which involved planting bombs around major areas such as a power plant in Buchanan and the NYC Subway. The resulting mass panic and confusion would distract authorities from Schidler smuggling in the Solution without their knowing. The bombs were built by Katarina's right-hand Una Hauptman, thought they suffered malfunctions which resulted in employee casualties. The Hunters, who had been seeking out and killing Nazis and uncovering the Schidler Corp. conspiracy but still didn't know the full scope, attempted to stop their terrorist plan on July 13, 1977, when the bombs were planted by various Nazi underlings such as Una herself and neo-Nazi Travis Leich. Despite their efforts that resulted in the death of Murray Markowitz, the bombs went off as intended and caused a blackout across New York City, although in the process Una was killed by the Hunters. Schidler Corp carried in the Solution amidst the resultant anarchy to Schidler Corp. headquarters in New Jersey for preparation and distribution.
The Hunters, now aware of Schidler Corp's plan to distribute the Solution, invade Schidler Corp's HQ in secret and tear it down from the inside out, raising the temperature of the Solution well-past boiling hot, causing it to self-destruct burn everyone inside, including Katarina Löw and many of Schidler's workers, presumably killing them all. The remainder of the Solution is destroyed by explosives, leaving the fate of the company unknown and forcing The Colonel to switch to a mysterious "plan B".
