Colonel Chi is the main villain of the 1993 family comedy film Surf Ninjas.
He was played by the late Leslie Nielsen, who also played Paul Jenson in the 1977 horror film Day of the Animals, Richard Vickers in the 1982 Stephen King anthology horror film Creepshow, Dracula in the 1995 Mel Brooks comedy film Dracula: Dead and Loving It, and Clive Thornton in the 2001 comedy film Kevin of the North.
Biography[]
When heroes, Johnny and Adam, are little, their home and kingdom were taken over by Colonel Chi. They learn that it's indeed their destiny to defeat the cyborg warlord. Colonel Chi's henchmen try to kill the heroes and later call him to let him know what is going on and their current progress, he says not to give him anymore excuses and they die tonight and then asks if they tried to call him and then he viciously throws the phone, which the prisoners laugh. Then when he's getting a drill or something sharpened for a lackey, the henchman trips him with the cord by accident and he angrily is about to attack him for his stupidity but is interrupted by another phone call and orders his henchmen to destroy the heroes and to send more minions.
Later when they reach Patusan, their homeland, and kingdom, they find a destroyed village and politicians imprisoned. Colonel Chi's guards encounter the heroes and Johnny and Adam beat the guards and free the political prisoners. The heroes a little later gather the villagers and go to Colonel Chi's lair and dungeon. At the royal city, they overcome Colonel Chi's goons and set Mac free.
Then Johnny fights Colonel Chi and beats him, with the help of Adam and his game gear as well by knocking him into a so-called body of water and is defeated and killed. Peace once again is brought back to Patusan and the heroes become the land's new rulers. They re-create Patusan as a democracy, a government by the people etc, so the citizens can be free of ruling and sinister, evil tyrants like Colonel Chi for the good of all.
