Alloy Lantern
Alloy Lantern is the second boss from Darius II, appearing again as the penultimate boss of Darius Twin. One of the many Belser flagships, Alloy Lantern serves as a carrier, having a hollow interior to transport other smaller battleships. Alloy Lantern is shaped after the angler fish.
Alloy Lantern has a moving tentacle which serves as both offense and defense, and a cannon mounted on it's mouth. Destroying the cannon will open the way to it's interior. Additionally, it has turrets all over it's body. In Darius II you fight either Steel Spin or Killer Higia upon invading it's interior. In Darius Twin you fight Great Tusk (the game's final boss) inside it.
