Anchorage Water Demon is an antagonist of the Kantai Collection series who first appeared as the E-5 Boss of the Spring 2015 Event. She is one of the minions of the Abyssal Fleet.
She was voiced by Mikako Komatsu and drawn by Akira.
Appearance[]
Anchorage Water Demon was a humanoid who generally appeared as a thin and slender small-breasted young woman with white skin, red eyes and very long black-and-white gradient hair, wearing what appeared to be a white coat patterned with two black lines coming down at the middle, short sleeves and a flowy white dress that was attached to it. She has very long hair which has a mostly black-and-white gradient, first going from black approximately near her shoulders to then go to a slightly blueish colour below her waist, then a grey fade and finally, white. One of her recognizable traits was the large, long white demon horns on her head. She also wore black high heel shoes and was surrounded by a large monster. In her first and second basic form, she was equipped with a Deterioration Armor Piercing Shell, two 16inch Twin Gun Mount and an Abyssal Hell Dive Bomber. In her third and second basic form, she was equipped with a Deterioration Armor Piercing Shell, two 20inch Twin Gun Mount and an Abyssal Hell Dive Bomber.
In her Vacation Mode form, she is seen to be in a relaxed position on her typical large monster with an annoyed facial expression, holding by a black parasol while being covered by it, wearing a black swimsuit with a violet flower attached to it and white high heel shoes with a strap holding another violet flower, along with a small white monster carrying a hurricane drinking glass filled with a green cocktail drink with a white cream and red cherry on top with a black tray on its back. Her second basic Vacation Mode form also had her seen with her swimsuit torn and her arm outstreched as if to attack and her facial expression was angry. In her first, second and third basic Vacation Mode form, she was equipped with three 20inch Twin Gun Mount and an Abyssal Night Revenge Torpedo Bomber. In her fourth, fifth and sixth basic Vacation Mode form, she was equipped with three 20inch Twin Gun Mount and an Abyssal Ambush Torpedo.
Personality[]
Her Under Attack line during combat has laughing and giggling, which is seen as by many fans as sadomasochistic. Due to this, she's usually given a yandere personality.

- She has been noted to bear resemblance to Albedo from the Overlord series.
- She is a reference to the Addu Atoll.
- The atoll served as an anchorage for the British and the Japanese never knew of its existence until late 1942.
- The music often associated with her (along with the Battleship Water Demon) is No Going Back.
- Since the Summer 2019 Event, she has been weak against dive bombers and amphibious Daihatsus.
- The Vacation Mode form of the Anchorage Water Demon is a surface ship instead of a land base.
- "ノヨ" is often mistook as a vocal tic, so she is nicknamed "Noyo" by some.
- Later, she appeared as the E-3 Phase 2 Boss of the Early Fall 2018 Event.
