To distract the Jedi while Slick sabotaged their base and a massive army of droid reinforcements landed on Christophsis, she confronted Kenobi and Skywalker in the upper floors of the tower.
The Jedi arrive at the enemy base and inside, they meet a cloaked Asajj Ventress.
Upon arriving at the base, Skywalker and Kenobi were greeted by the hooded figure of Asajj Ventress.
Ventress removes her hood to greet the Jedi.
Obi-Wan tells Ventress here he thought the mission would be unpleasant but she says the pleasure is all hers.
Ventress removes her cloak and ignites her two crimson blade sabers.
Upon sight of each other, all three adversaries ignited their lightsabers.
Ventress nimbly climbed to the top of the base's stairs.
She taunted the two about the existence of her informant.
Skywalker and Kenobi face off against Ventress in the Separatist base.
Asajj gloats that her informant warned her of the Jedi's arrival.
A lightsaber duel ensued when Skywalker slashed at Ventress.
Asajj drove him down to the bottom of the stairs.
Skywalker and Ventress cross swords in the Separatist base.
Kenobi joined the fight and engaged Ventress as well.
Ventress clashes her blade against Ob-Wan's lightsaber.
Ventress fought Skywalker and Kenobi simultaneously with her dual lightsabers.
Ventress used the Force to telekinetically throw a piece of crystal rubble at the duo.
Kenobi and Skywalker gradually managed to drive Ventress back up the stairs.
Asajj fled into another room, to where the Jedi pursued her.
Ventree fled into an adjacent room with many books.
Ventress reaches out with the Force.
She used the Force to summon numerous books off their shelves and hurtled them at her pursuers.
Kenobi stopped them with the Force, and Skywalker's added telekinetic assistance forced the books back at Ventress.
Confident that her forces were in position and that Slick had done his duty, she deactivated her weapons and sat on the floor.
As the Dark Acolyte assumed a submissive seated position, the two Jedi approached her with lightsabers ignited.
However, Ventress suddenly activated her own lightsabers into the floor and opened up a hole, causing Skywalker and Kenobi to fall into the room below.
She creates a large hole in the floor beneath their feet with her lightsabers, pushing them one level down.
Ventress grins, for the Jedi had served their purpose -- her whole plot was to stall them.
Ventress mocked the two trapped Jedi.
Asajj tells the Jedi it's too late and how hard it is to know who to trust.
Ventress taunts them and runs away, with the Jedi following her.
The two Jedi jumped back up into the room above and followed Ventress as she broke a window.
Ventress bursted out of a window and fled to the balcony.
While Ventress landed on the head of an octuptarra magna tri-droid attached to the side of the building, Skywalker and Kenobi walked onto the balcony and discovered the full scale of the Separatist invasion force.
Before her, numerous C-9979 landing craft were delivering her invasion force into the city.
Ventress taunts Obi-Wan stating he has been betrayed and now the Separatists were going to take control of this world.
Despite the revelation of the enormous invasion force, Skywalker and Kenobi continued the duel and jumped onto the legs of the tri-droid, cutting off two of its legs.
Ventress stumbled as the tri-droid's hold on the building was broken.
Ventress jumped off the droid's head.
Asajj briefly engaged Skywalker upon one of the droid's remaining legs.
As the droid plummeted to the ground, Skywalker Force pushed Ventress away/
Ventress jumps off the octuptarra droid.
Ventress reached the ground while the tri-droid crashed behind her.
Asajj gazes up to see the aftermath.
Skywalker and Kenobi each commandeered a Single Trooper Aerial Platform from the battle droids piloting them.
She then gave orders to General Loathsom to prepare to march on the city.
Ventress speaks with a tactical droid giving it new directives.
Asajj ordered the droid forces to attack the city in order to keep the Jedi occupied while she carried out the next part of her master's plan - turning Jabba the Hutt against the Jedi and the Republic by kidnapping his son.
She then left in her Trident-class assault ship, leaving Loathsom and the droid in command of the attack.
Katuunko and his guards were surprised by the appearance of two B1 battle droids and Asajj Ventress.
The Dark Acolyte claimed to be an emissary for her Master.
On Rugosa, King Katuunko meet Ventress and she presents a hologram of Count Dooku.
Dooku tells the king that he learned he was considering joining the Republic and was going to speak with his former master Yoda.
Ventress stood in the back as Katuunko debated with the Count over the abilities of the Jedi and the droid army.
With the pleasantries done, Dooku bowed respectfully and ended the transmission leaving his apprentice to deal with the king.
Katuunko watched with Ventress as the Republic ship flees through his rangefinder.
Ventress attempted to use the retreat to illustrate the Republic's weakness.
Asajj Ventress stood as the king was pleased to see the Jedi Master, having previously believed that Dooku had frightened him away.
Yoda became aware of Ventress' presence, as the Dark Acolyte proposed a contest to demonstrate which side was superior in strength.
Ventress planned to dispatch her forces from the T81 Division to capture Yoda, and if he defeated them, the Toydarians would join the Republic.
If Yoda were to escape her grip and arrive at the rendezvous by nightfall, the king could consider himself free to join the Republic; if not, she expected him to consider an alliance with the Separatists.
Nevertheless, Yoda promised to reach the rendezvous point by nightfall, and Ventress agreed with the king's demands that the Jedi had to be given a fair fight.
Although the king found the idea of pushing his guest into a test of battle distasteful, Yoda accepted the terms, and Ventress agreed to give the diminutive Jedi a fair fight.
However, a fair fight was never intended and Ventress returned to her base.
After returning to her base, Ventress contacted Dooku and stated that her forces were being deployed.
Dooku approved of her deal, believing that Yoda made a mistake in venturing far from Coruscant.
Ventress tells Dooku she will see that the Jedi gets his "fair fight".
Ventress tells her droid commanders to find Master Yoda.
Asajj tasked her droid commander, 224, with hunting down and killing Yoda and his retinue.
Ventress says Yoda will be the small green one with a lightsaber and brandishes hers.
The battle droids assure their Supreme Leader that they will find the Jedi Master.
Ventress oversaw the deployment of a full battalion consisting of B1 battle droids, B2 super battle droids, and Armored Assault Tanks.
As Supreme Leader of the Confederate delegation, Ventress dispatched the recently promoted 224 with the task of leading the droid forces, and the battle droids prepared to ambush the Republic's diplomatic squad.
Ventress remained alongside King Katuunko as they monitored the Jedi's progress through Rugosa's coral forests.
224 reports to Ventress that the Jedi destroyed their advanced troops that pleased the king.
Ventress asks 224 if they have pinpoint the Jedi's location.
King Katuunko and Ventress listen as 224 reports that their heavy troops are moving to engage the clones now.
Ventress and King Katuunko watch the battle progress from a mountaintop.
224 regularly updated the Dathomirian on the droids' progress, eventually reporting that their forces had engaged the Yoda and forced him into retreat.
Katuunko was clearly rooting for the Jedi and contacted Yoda to confirm his survival.
Ventress seized his communicator from him and crushed it with her bare hands.
Asajj vowed the Jedi would not allude her for long.
As the day near end, Ventress and Katuunko awaited an update on the progress.
224 contacted Ventress via hologram.
224 contacted her again later in the day, claiming that the Jedi had been found by the Confederate forces and was simply sitting in the wilderness before a column of droids and assault tanks.
Ventress insisted that they kill the Jedi immediately.
Yoda managed to destroy all of the tanks and droids, creating a scene of smoke and destruction visible from the rendezvous point.
Katuunko witnessed the ensuing skirmish from afar, commenting that Master Yoda's surrender was generating an unusual amount of smoke.
Asajj, angered by the king's comments, turns away.
The apprentice attempted once more to contact 224.
Another battle droid answered Asajj's call.
Another droid informed her that her commander had been destroyed by Yoda.
After Ventress learned of 224's destruction at Yoda's hand, the king claimed that all rumors about the power of the Jedi were true.
However, Ventress did not give up easily telling the king the fight was not over yet.
The Dark Acolyte broke the terms of the competition and ordered droidekas to enter the battle.
King Katuunko, fully convinced that the contest was over, contacted Count Dooku.
The Count would not allow Toydaria to fall to the Republic, so ordered his apprentice to kill the king and make way for a pro-Separatist monarch.
Dooku decided that negotiations with Katuunko's successor would be more productive, and ordered his apprentice to kill the Toydarian monarch.
Both royal guards moved to defend their king, but Ventress deflected their blasterfire.
Ventress Force pushed the guards away.
Katuunko's guards tried to stop the Dark Acolyte, but Ventress merely Force pushed them aside, knocking them unconscious.
Ventress moved to kill the king with her paired lightsabers.
Ventress had been stopped mid-strike by Master Yoda, who had arrived just in time to telekinetically halt her attack with the Force.
As Ventress attacked Katuunko with her paired lightsabers, she found herself confronted by Yoda, having arrived in time to save the king by using the Force to stop her death blow from being struck.
She nearly succeeded in the task, but her lightsaber blades were halted midstrike by Master Yoda's telekinetic intervention.
The Jedi threw Ventress back.
Ventress tells Master Yoda she does not fear him.
Asajj prepares to take on Yoda herself.
Yoda taunted her Force prowess and seized her lightsabers from her.
Yoda tells the Dark Acolyte that she still has much to learn.
After examining her lightsabers, the Jedi returned them to her, having proven they were useless against his telekinesis.
Ventress snarls when Yoda encouraged her to surrender.
Ventress was outnumbered, and Yoda suggested that she surrender.
In order to escape, Ventress detonated pre-planted explosives at the Thief's Eye and caused the hillside adjacent to the Republic forces to collapse.
However, Dooku's minion had no intention of being captured by the Republic, and detonated explosives she had planted on a hill beside Katuunko, causing a landslide and also damaging his star yacht.
While Master Yoda used the Force to halt the falling rocks and save the lives of his clones and the king, Ventress slipped away.
Ventress escaped Rugosa on her solar sailor.
While Grievous oversaw a plan to disable the listening post, Ventress was dispatched to Kamino alone to engage in espionage and prepare for the arrival of the Separatist fleet.
Her efforts were successful and she contacted Grievous through hologram to inform him of her readiness.
Ventress enters the Separatist bridge where her master awaits.
As Sidious' hologram faded away, Ventress stood before Dooku in private.
Dooku gave Ventress her mission, but warned her that she would have to prove herself worthy of being his apprentice.
Ventress assures her master that she is worthy as he would see.
Ventress emerged from one of the Droch-class boarding ships.
After the droids wiped out the first wave of clone defenders and moved onto other regions of the ship, Ventress leaped out of her vessel.
Asajj spots a clone barely alive.
Ventress activates her paired lightsabers.
Ventress quickly beheaded the last remaining clone trooper before he could warn his commanders of her presence.
After killing the clone, Ventress sees his communicator.
Stealing the trooper's comlink, Ventress cut a hole in one of the vents in the ceiling of the hangar with her lightsabers and proceeded to the Tranquility's engine room.
She listened in on Republic chatter.
Ventress enters the engine room through the ventilation shafts.
The Dark Acolyte was able to slip past 327-T, the WED-15 Treadwell droid that was inspecting the area.
Within, she evaded the notice of the maintenance droid 327-T.
In the engine room, a simpleminded repair droid fails to spot the stealthy assassin.
Ventress evades the notice of 327-T.
Ventress planted several thermal detonators around the Star Destroyer's main reactors.
She stealthily planted time-delayed thermal detonators throughout the room.
Avoiding capture by patrolling clone troopers, Ventress slipped back into the ventilation shafts.
Ventress found the detention center and cut her way into its control room from the ceiling above.
Ventress drops down and kicks one of the Senate Commandos out.
Asajj knocked the two Senate Commandos manning the control station of the Tranquility there unconscious.
Ahsoka ignites her lightsaber blade ready to battle the assassin.
The Dark Jedi then confronted the Padawan, and the two exchanged insults.
The assassin quickly dispatched two Senate Commandos before being confronted by Ahsoka Tano, Skywalker's Padawan who had been assigned to guard Gunray.
Ventress leaps into the air before engaging Tano in a lightsaber duel.
Ventress swipes away Ahsoka's lightsaber.
While the pair fought, Unduli overheard the lightsaber clashes and quickly headed back for the detention block with Gree and the remaining clones.
The two briefly dueled and Tano was ostensibly aided by Captain Argyus, who shot at Ventress to maintain their ruse.
Tano ordered Argyus and the other Senate Commandos to open fire on Ventress.
But the Dark Acolyte deflected and rebounded the lasers, killing all of the Commandos save for Argyus.
The Senate Commando captain himself blocked the reflected shots with his shoulder armor.
Ventress Force pushed Argyus out of her way.
In order to keep the Separatist agent's cover from being compromised, Ventress attacked him as well and Force pushed him toward the control station, knocking him unconscious.
Ventress taunts the Padawan stating her master is not there to save her.
Ahsoka does the splits as Ventress maneuvers around her.
The assassin leaps behind Tano slipping past her.
Breaking away from dueling Tano, Ventress reached Nute Gunray's cell.
Ventress proceeded to deactivate the laser gate of Gunray's cell.
As the Padawan arrived and slashed at the viceroy, Ventress kicked her into the detention cell.
Nevertheless, Ventress easily overcame them both and released Gunray from his detention cell before luring Tano into the cell herself.
Gunray relishes this reversal as he reactivates the shield, locking Ahsoka inside.
Gunray's freedom was short-lived; Jedi Master Luminara Unduli, who was overseeing the prisoner transfer, returned from battling the droids with Clone Commander Gree and engaged Ventress.
Nevertheless, Unduli arrived at the detention blocks with the clone troopers, changing the course of the fight with her reinforcements.
As Luminara runs towards her and the viceroy, Ventress activates her lightsabers.
Running to engage Ventress, the Jedi Master also telekinetically deactivated the laser bars of Tano's cell and Ventress now has to deal with two combatants.
Using the Force, Unduli released Tano from her prison and together the two Jedi attacked Ventress.
Ventress dueled both Jedi at once, and Unduli ordered the Dark Acolyte to surrender.
Ventress seemingly surrenders, lowering her weapons.
With no intention of giving up, Ventress activated the explosives planted in the engine room and the Tranquility shook under the resulting blast, and as everyone in the room lost their balance.
Ventress took the opportunity to Force push Unduli to the ground.
The Jedi Master rolled aside, avoiding several lightsaber slashes aimed at her head.
Ventress leapt over her, escaping past the Jedi Master and her troops.
Although the clone troopers opened fire at the Dark Acolyte, Ventress jumped over them.
Ventress runs down the corridor blocking blaster fire.
Ventress makes her escape at the end of the detention level.
Asajj opened a turbolift shaft door with the Force.
Asajj escaped past the Jedi Master and her troops into a now-malfunctioning turbolift.
Ventress plunged her lightsabers into the wall of the lift.
The Dark Acolyte escaped, plunging her lightsabers into the side of the turbolift shaft to control her descent.
Plunging her lightsabers into the wall of the lift to control her descent, the assassin fled into the bowels of the ship in an attempt to lure Unduli away from the viceroy, leaving a trail of dead clones in her wake.
After the Jedi Master had entered the room, Ventress appeared and slashed at her.
The scheme worked, and the Jedi Master tracked Ventress alone into the Tranquility's now-ruined and burning engine room.
The Dathomirian ambushed Unduli and temporarily blinded the Jedi by slicing open an exposed pipe that immediately blasted gas into her opponent's face.
Asajj diffused a pipe and injuring Unduli's left eye.
With Luminara injured, Ventress takes the opportunity to rush her.
The Jedi Master back flipped onto another reactor with Ventress in pursuit.
The two continued their duel throughout the upper levels of the room.
Unduli duels in the smoldering room where she is promptly pounced upon by Ventress.
Vision clouded by a blast of steam, Luminara realizes her enemy is the stronger fighter.
Ventress taunts Luminara asking her if she can still call on the Force when she kills her.
Unduli commented on the sloppiness of Ventress' fighting style, seeking to distract her adversary.
Ventress grew more enraged at the Jedi when she criticized the assassin for sloppy lightsaber combat discipline.
By underestimating her opponent, Unduli could learn the lesson too late.
Enraged, Ventress jumped toward Unduli, and the two continued their fight with renewed force.
Ventress continues to pounce on Unduli during the fight.
Luminara sees Asajj Ventress as sloppy amateur, but finds she needs every trick in the duelist's book to withstand her furious attacks.
In the Jedi Cruiser's reactor room, the Mirialan Jedi Luminara Unduli barely sees Ventress in time to avoid her saber.
The lightsaber battle continued though the reactor room.
The two combatants continued their duel in the malfunctioning engine room.
Luminara barely misses a trap set by her enraged enemy.
Ventress attempted to Force push Luminara off the engine platforms.
Ventress and Unduli employed Force pushes against each other.
After a few moments, both Jedi Master and Dark Acolyte released the energy and were pushed backward.
Being thrown back, Asajj crouches retaining her battle stance.
Unduli jumped over Ventress, aiming several lightsaber blows before landing behind her.
The pair turned back around to face each other.
Ventress lunged at the Jedi Master, but instead of slashing at her, she kicked her off the reactor to the floor far below.
As Unduli fell and lost hold of her lightsaber, Ventress jumped up and detached several fuel pipes from the ceiling.
Before descending to finish off her opponent, the Dathomirian leaped to the ceiling and severed several large pipes, sending them crashing down atop Unduli below.
Ventress tells Luminara she'll fall as all Jedi must.
The Jedi Master was trapped beneath one of the pipes when Ventress reached her.
Taking advantage of Unduli's vulnerability, Ventress leaped to kill the Jedi Master, lightsabers spinning.
But before the killing blow could be made, she was interrupted by Ahsoka Tano, who used the Force to throw her backwards into one of the severed pipes.
Ventress climbed out of the severed pipe.
Making use of Dooku's training to duel more than one Jedi at once, Ventress engaged the two Jedi.
Tano freed Unduli and returned her lightsaber in time for them both to defend against Ventress, who attacked them simultaneously.
The assassin showed her very formidable lightsaber skills by engaging the two Jedi.
Asajj briefly loses her composure when dueling Tano and Unduli.
Tano and Unduli face off against Ventress.
Ventress eventually ascended the large reactors and disappeared from sight to keep Unduli and Tano occupied.
She again fled into the upper levels of the engine room after a short duel.
Believing Ventress to be after Gunray, the Jedi jumped up and searched for Ventress, but the Separatist agent instead used her stolen comlink to secretly signal Argyus to free the viceroy.
Receiving word of Argyus's betrayal form Gree, the two Jedi headed back to the detention level to assist the clone while Ventress spotted them.
When CC-1004 contacted the Jedi to inform them of Argyus's betrayal, their rush back to the detention level was halted by Ventress.
Intending to keep them occupied, Ventress hurled a pipe at them with the Force.
Asajj used the Force to pelt them with pieces of piping and debris before jumping down.
Turning around, Unduli severed the projectile and Ventress activated her twin blades.
Ventress shouts out a war cry as she rushes the Jedi.
Luminara and Tano continued their duel, engaging Ventress in a saberlock.
The Dathomirian cackled as she held Unduli and Ahsoka in a saberlock.
Ventress cackled as she engaged the Jedi in a saberlock.
Back in the engine room, Tano and Unduli took turns advancing at Ventress.
Finding and engaging Ventress in a lightsaber duel.
The Jedi forced the Dark Acolyte to give ground.
She was able to combat both the Jedi but ultimately had to give ground and did a back flip.
Ventress lands a does a bow of respect for her adversaries.
The two Jedi cut through the debris that the Separatist agent Force pushed at them.
The Jedi Master rebounded the last piece back at Ventress.
The Dark Acolyte Force jumped, avoiding the projectile, and charged at the pair again.
Luminara and Ahsoka fight Asajj on the bridge of the engine room.
As the duel continued, Argyus signaled Ventress with his comlink that Gunray had been freed.
Ventress fought Ahsoka and Luminara until Argyus signaled to her that the mission had been completed.
Ventress then quickly fled the scene, leaping onto a reactor and into an overlooking ventilation duct.
Asajj covered her final escape by lobbing a primed thermal detonator behind her at Tano as the Padawan gave chase.
Ventress escaped as the explosive detonated.
Her mission accomplished, Ventress activates several leftover explosives to cover her escape.
Ventress disposed of two clone troopers guarding the Star Destroyer's escape pods.
Ventress made her way to the Tranquility's escape pod bay.
She slew two clones before boarding a pod and departing the crippled Star Destroyer.
Stealing a pod for herself, Ventress departed the Tranquility.
Her pod rendezvoused with Gunray and Argyus's stolen frigate a short distance from the Tranquility and entered the cockpit.
In space, Ventress docked her escape pod to the Consular-class cruiser and climbed aboard where Argyus cockily claimed their plan worked.
She found the Senate Captain boasting about his success and claiming credit for the mission.
Captain Argyus gloats about his success, cockily mentioning to Asajj that he'll ensure her contributions to their rescue efforts will be noted in his report to Count Dooku.
A close-up of Ventress' pale blue eyes.
Argyus is killed by Asajj Ventress.
Argyus gasps in shock as Ventress stabbed him through the chest, killing her confidant before ferrying Viceroy Gunray to safety herself.
Yet, when Argyus claimed credit for the mission, Ventress executed him with her lightsaber.
Ventress removed Argyus' body from the pilot seat with the Force.
She greets the viceroy and Gunray told Asajj he had always had a 'good feeling' about her.
Aboard a Jedi Cruiser, Clones Cody and Rex examine an intercepted message from General Grievous to Asajj Ventress.
Through hologram, Ventress tells Grievous that the clone planet Kamino will be a dangerous target.
On the eve of the attack she contacted Grievous from deep beneath the waves of the Kaminoan oceans to inform the general that she had completed her first phase of the operation and was in position to begin the attack.
Ventress tells Grievous that Kamino will fall under our hands as Count Dooku gave them both this assignment.
Grievous tells Asajj he looks forward to meeting her and ends the transmission.
Ventress questions the droid commander if the aqua droids were ready for phase 2 of the plan.
Ventress was already on Kamino aboard her personal starship, the Trident.
Ventress and her forces were hiding in the deep oceans of Kamino aboard a Trident-class assault ship.
The droid commander tells Ventress that reinforcements have arrived.
When the debris fell into the ocean, Ventress ordered her aqua droids to assemble the assault crafts.
The Trident assault ships then came out of the ocean and attacked Tipoca City with Ventress following.
While Grievous led the frontal assault, Ventress infiltrated Tipoca City on her own, leaving the aqua droids behind as she set out towards the DNA archive room.
On the way she encountered the clone Advanced Recon Commando Colt making a desperate last stand against a droid squad led by Grievous.
Ventress quickly ended the shootout when she seized Colt in a telekinetic Force choke and slammed him into a passage wall.
Still holding Colt within her Force grip, Ventress gleefully activated her lightsaber.
Ventress pulled Colt onto her blade with the Force, impaling and killing him.
Asajj kissing a stabbed clone trooper (deleted scene).
Asajj walks over the dead clone's body.
After killing Colt, Ventress and Grievous discuss their plans.
Grievous compliments her on her skills as an assassin.
Although Grievous was impressed with her display of power, Ventress had no respect for the cyborg general as he reminded her of her task of stealing the clone template.
Ventress questions why not they just destroy the clone DNA.
Ventress tells Grievous to keep playing with his droids and she'll see to breaking into the DNA room.
Grievous grabs Asajj asking her if he should provide her with a droid escort.
Ventress refused his offer for a droid escort on her mission to steal the clone DNA sample.
Ventress refuses the general's offer and caresses his face before leaving.
Ventress infiltrated the DNA archive room.
Asajj has found the clone DNA chamber and reaches the control console.
Upon reaching the DNA store room, Ventress used the archive computer to withdraw the genetic material belonging to Jango Fett.
Asajj secures the prime DNA sample of the clones' template, Jango Fett.
Ventress steals the template organism used to create all of the Republic's clones.
Just as she secured her objective, Skywalker arrived, lightsaber in hand, to retrieve the DNA sample.
The pair of familiar adversaries briefly reacquainted themselves.
Ventress places the clone template on the side of her belt.
Asajj activates her lightsabers before engaging in lightsaber combat.
Ventress somersaulted over Skywalker.
Ventress Force-pushed him against the DNA archive shelf.
Asajj points her lightsabers at Skywalker in the doorway of the clone lab.
Asajj was intercepted by Anakin Skywalker before she could abscond with her objective.
Though Skywalker recovered quickly and re-engaged her.
Their fierce duel moved into the hallway.
The two dueled one another through the halls of Tipoca City.
Anakin manages to avoid Ventress' second blade.
Ventress tries to upper strike Skywalker but raises his blade in defense.
Skywalker made a grab for the DNA canister on her utility belt, but Ventress was too quick for him and thwarted his attempt at retrieval.
Anakin engages Ventress in lightsaber combat.
The Jedi Knight attempted to seize the DNA sample, but Ventress easily evaded his grasp.
Ventress leans both of her crimson blades against Skywalker's blue blade.
Asajj and Skywalker take a brief moment to salute each other.
Ventress blocks Anakin's strike with her saber.
Skywalker and Ventress traded saber slashes.
Ventress and Skywalker maneuver around each other in the halls of Tipoca City.
Skywalker responded by pressing his attack, driving Ventress backward before locking blades with the Dark Acolyte in an effort to overpower her.
Ventress found an opportunity to flip Skywalker over her body with a kick.
Now with an open route, she fled towards the city exterior with the Jedi in close pursuit.
Taking advantage of his brief distraction, Ventress made an escape with the DNA canister, with Skywalker in hot pursuit.
Now with an open route, she fled towards the city exterior with the Jedi in close pursuit but emerged to find that the Republic had disabled the last Trident assault craft and driven back the droid forces.
Dueling furiously, both adversaries avoided the ship and paid it little attention.
She sparred with Skywalker again.
Near the edge of the city, the Jedi gained the upper hand when he kicked Ventress off her feet.
The infuriated Ventress immediately retaliated, forcing Skywalker backward.
Dueling furiously, both adversaries avoided the ship and paid it little attention.
The apprentice responded furiously, kicking Skywalker in the face and chest until he too was knocked down and dropped the DNA sample.
Asajj forced Anakin to drop the cannister.
Ventress tried to pull it back into her hands with the Force.
Asajj pulled the canister toward her with the Force.
The container was intercepted midair by a clone trooper shocking Ventress.
At that moment, the clone troopers arrived to assist Skywalker and surrounded Asajj.
Now outnumbered by Skywalker and his men, the Dark Acolyte expected to be forced to surrender.
At that moment she received a signal from Grievous, who was likewise fleeing a duel with a Jedi.
Asajj received a signal that Grievous was approaching in their escape vessel.
Skywalker intended to have the clones execute her on sight.
Ventress refused to submit.
Asajj unleashed a powerful Force repulse.
An outnumbered Ventress unleashes a Force repulse knocking the Jedi and clones off their feet.
Dodging the clones' blaster fire, Ventress made her escape.
Ventress runs to the edge of the Kaminoan platforms.
As the general passed overhead in a stolen Kaminoan flight pod, Ventress dodged Republic fire and leaped up into the pod.
The rival Separatist commanders escaped from Kamino, neither of them having completed their objective.
Ventress evaded capture, escaping with Grievous to fight another day.
Ventress led a sizable Confederate battle group to the Sullust system, where she and the tactical droid TJ-912 directed their forces in a showdown against a Republic fleet.
Ventress, in her Ginivex-class fanblade starfighter then led two groups of fighters in attacking the Republic's flagship, the Resolute.
Once the tri-fighters had done their work, Ventress stated she would go directly for their bridge.
Ventress had the tri-fighters of Trident Group One attack the Resolute's starboard engines, while she sent Trident Group Two to assault the cruiser's port-side shield generators.
The coordinated assault allowed Ventress to navigate her starfighter through the Resolute's turbolaser defenses.
Asajj smiled as she blasted the destroyer's port-side command bridge.
As Ventress pressed her attack, she and her droid squadrons located and intercepted Kenobi and Skywalker's Jedi starfighters.
While the tri-fighters followed after Skywalker's fighter, Ventress tailed Kenobi and continued to fire on his ship, gradually crippling its systems.
After chasing the Jedi through the battle theater and around a Venator-class destroyer, Ventress nearly killed Kenobi but instead came under fire from Skywalker, who had managed to evade and destroy his tri-fighter pursuers.
Ventress's Ginivex-class starfighter was badly damaged and she was forced to follow Kenobi into a crash landing in the hangar of her Providence-class dreadnought.
When Ventress' starfighter was critically damaged, she contacted Dooku for help.
Ventress contacted Dooku from within the cockpit of her downed fighter to request assistance.
Ventress implored Dooku to help destroy the Jedi and that she would prove it.
Dooku coldly states that Ventress has failed him for the last time, telling her that she was no longer his apprentice and that she would soon die which greatly disturbed Ventress.
Injured and with her reinforcements ordered to abandon the battle theater, Ventress emerged from her ship to face the Jedi alone.
Left by Dooku to die, Ventress faced the Jedi alone aboard the command ship.
The two Jedi then confronted Ventress, who — despite being injured from the crash — refused to surrender.
In a refusal to surrender, she dueled the two aggressively across the hangar.
Asajj engaged the Jedi in a lightsaber duel in the hangar.
Obi-Wan and Anakin confront Ventress together.
Abandoned by Dooku, Ventress duels Skywalker and Kenobi alone.
Aboard the warship, Ventress had to fight Anakin and Obi-Wan as well.
Ventress briefly kicks the Jedi away.
Asajj leaps in front of Skywalker.
Ventress managed to evade several of her adversaries' attacks.
Ventress Force pushes Anakin against a wall.
Ventress duels Skywalker and Kenobi alone aboard the Separatist command ship.
Obi-Wan Kenobi rushes toward Ventress.
Ventress and Kenobi clash their blades together.
She managed to separate the Jedi for a moment.
Skywalker and Kenobi Force pushed Asajj against her starfighter.
She was quickly overwhelmed and cornered against her own starfighter.
In a burst of dark side aggression, Ventress seized both Jedi in a Force choke.
Ventress unleashed a wave of dark side energy, capturing both Skywalker and Kenobi in a Force choke.
Asajj summoned up every bit of her fury as fuel for her dark side powers.
Ventress subsequently lost her Force hold on the Jedi.
Asajj was interrupted when TJ-912 — under orders from Count Dooku — opened fire on Ventress' command ship from the droid's Recusant-class destroyer.
Ventress leaps away and strikes a pose at the Jedi.
All three opponents were forced to dodge around her damaged starfighter as the listing cruiser caused it to drift.
Ventress leaped over her Ginivex-class starfighter.
In spite of the fact that the Providence-class destroyer was failing and dangerously close to obliteration, the Jedi continued their duel with Ventress.

At that moment,a Hyena-class bomber crashed into the hangar on a suicide run, forcing Skywalker, Kenobi, and Ventress to dive for cover.
Skywalker and Kenobi broke off from their duel with Ventress who went to her damaged starfighter.
Again left for dead at the Battle of Sullust, Ventress scurried aboard her crippled starfighter.
Asajj drove her starfighter along the hangar floor towards the airlock, escaping the Providence-class destroyer.
Ventress barely escaped in her damaged starfighter just as it detonated under continued fire.
The explosion destroyed much of the remaining Confederate fleet and won the battle for the Republic, leaving behind only debris and an unconscious Asajj Ventress in the charred hull of her disabled Ginivex-class starfighter.
Ventress is left floating in space in her nearly destroyed starfighter until she is recovered by a scavenging crew.
The scavengers aboard, who had been picking through the debris field in the aftermath of the battle, took the Fanblade starfighter as a prize and pulled Ventress from the wreckage.
Captain Ratch pulls the unconscious Ventress from her starfighter.
Ratch and his Weequay crew retrieved an unconscious Asajj Ventress within her damaged Ginivex-class starfighter from the debris.
The scavenger captain Ratch and his crew resuscitated the woman with an injection.
Asajj awakens finding Ratch and his crew.
Ratch began interrogating her about the battle at knife-point.
The injured and betrayed Ventress refused to answer questions, instead demanding to be taken to Dathomir.
Ratch questioned her demands asking why she wants to go there as there's only fog and witches.
Ventress says exactly to Ratch's description.
She seized the Twi'lek captain in a Force choke.
Ventress then grabbed the other three pirates with the Force.
Asajj slams Ratch and the three pirates against the walls of the cargo hold.
Though Ratch and his Weequay crew attempted to get ransom for her from her master, they were killed by Ventress almost instantly.
After killing Ratch and his crew, Ventress commandeered the Raider and set course for her long-lost homeworld in the Mid Rim.
Ventress arrived at the sparsely populated planet and set the Raider down in the red forest.
Soon after she disembarks, Ventress comes under surveillance from red-clad women.

The injured and exhausted Ventress was saved by the intervention of Mother Talzin, who recognized the woman.
Their aggressions were stayed by Talzin, who recognized the lost sister as Ventress and ordered her taken to the village.
Ventress weakly called the woman leader Mother Talzin.
Ventress, overcome by her wounds, collapsed into Talzin's arms.
Asajj was carried into the village by her sisters.
Talzin had her carried into their village for care.
Her body was placed on the Font a stone slab that was the altar in the middle of the Nightsister fortress.
With Ventress on an altar, Talzin and the Nightsisters perform a mystical ritual.
Ventress slept while Talzin directed the Nightsisters to gather basins containing the Water of Life — a liquid ichor that was infused with the magick of Dathomir and aided in Nightsister rituals.
The coven encircled Ventress with the Waters while Talzin led them in a shamanistic ritual intended to heal the assassin.

In her feverish dreams, Ventress recalls how she was rescued from a slaver whom her mother sold her to and raised on Rattatak.
Her master, Hal'Sted, was killed during a pirate uprising, leaving Ventress — still a young child — orphaned during the attack.
She discovered her master's body and grieved over her loss, but became distracted by the arrival of Ky Narec, a Jedi Knight who had been stranded on Rattatak and resolved to combat the pirate menace.
When he too was attacked by a Weequay, Ventress called upon previously untapped Force power to throw the pirate into the air and across several homes.
Asajj was rescued and taken in by Jedi Knight Ky Narec as a child.
Recognizing her potential in the Force, Narec took the child into his care and made her his Jedi Padawan.
In the present time on Dathomir, Ventress struggles during the healing ritual.
Asajj continues to sleep as the magical ichor mist surrounds her body.

Bereft of guidance and with only an introductory training of the power of the Force, the young Dathomirian embraced the dark side, killing Narec's assailants.

Talzin tells Ventress they will help her destroy Count Dooku and Asajj smiles deviously.
Ventress hid out with the Nightsisters for a short time after her healing, gathering strength and becoming familiar with her people's attire and customs.
Talzin and the coven greeted Ventress with a prayer circle and an enchanted basin of ichor.
Using her coven's spell-casting abilities, Talzin had imbued the liquid with the magick powers of stealth and told Ventress to step into the mist.
Ventress, Karis, and Naa'leth stepped into the mist rising from the ichor and became nearly invisible.
Their forms were cloudy and translucent, allowing the three Dathomirians easily be camouflaged in any environment.
Talzin provides her with the means of approaching and combating Dooku with the help of mystical invisibility potions.
Talzin conjured a spirit ichor mist that allowed her assassins to operate in the physical realm while appearing nearly invisible.
Ventress ask if they'll be invisible to Dooku and Talzin affirms her.
Asajj asks what if Dooku could sense them.

Ventress was convinced that her bid for revenge was foiled, but Talzin revealed that her plot was only beginning to unfold.
She explained to Ventress that their failed assassination demonstrated to Dooku his own vulnerability, and that the Sith Lord would now be eager to protect himself — specifically, by finding a new pupil with which to replace her.
After Talzin contacted the Count, Ventress entered the room and swore that she will see Dooku dead.
Talzin states that so she shall and smiles deviously.

After Opress awakened, he turned his attention towards Asajj.
Now a monstrous warrior whose sole purpose was to kill all those in his path, Opress' first instinctive act when awoken was to choke Ventress with his bare hands.
Although he initially ignored her protestations, Talzin's magick made him obedient to the Nightsister in the proper context, and so Ventress was able to order him to release her with a calm and soft command.

Assured of her pawn's allegiance and skill, Ventress claimed it is time for Dooku to meet his new apprentice.
Talzin, realizing that Opress could no longer be kept a secret from the galaxy and not wanting to incriminate herself or her clan, she met with Ventress to discuss their progress.
The younger woman believed that her assassination plot was not yet prepared as he needed more training.
Talzin insisted that she needed to strike now, as Opress had been revealed to the galaxy.
With things running tight, Talzin assigns Ventress to join her servant and strike at Dooku immediately before the deception is discovered and Ventress declares she will have her revenge.

Ventress bristled at her pawn's inability to strike at Dooku while she continued to fight.
Dooku simultaneously counters Opress attacks with more Force lightning, preventing him from rejoining the fight.
When Opress admitted that Dooku was too strong, Ventress became even more enraged, saying that his lack of ability would not be her undoing.
Furthermore, Ventress remained unsympathetic to Opress's lack of success, refusing to let his weakness be her downfall.
Dooku responded that a failed apprentice made for an awful teacher.
Both Ventress and Dooku criticize her pawn's inability to strike at Dooku and began berating him for his weakness.
The derision from Ventress and torture from Dooku was ultimately too much for the Nightbrother to handle, and so he broke free from his bonds of servitude and attacked both of his masters, grabbing them in a powerful Force choke.
Opress, torn between his loyalty to Ventress and his inability to defeat Dooku, roared in fury and used the Force to choke both of them, lifting them off the ground.
Dooku and Ventress both struggled helplessly as Opress threw them both across the room, slamming them into the wall.

Opress directed overpowering lightsaber strikes at his opponents, knocking Ventress backwards towards a wall.
To counter Opress' brute force, Ventress and Dooku teamed up, using telekinesis and Force lightning, respectively, in concert to hurtle the Nightbrother against the entry door.
The truce did not last long, however, as the Count attempted to electrocute Ventress, who absorbed the bolts into her lightsaber.
Ventress briefly weakened by the lightning attack.
As Dooku escaped the fray, Ventress gave pursuit, leaving Opress in the count's observation chamber.

On the lower decks, Asajj and Dooku pursue each other and attack with their lightsabers.
Ventress is shoved back by Dooku's Force push.
Ventress swats the Count's attack away.
Dooku ended the confrontation by throwing the Nightsister into a bulkhead.
Ventress held in Dooku's telekinetic grip.
After a few moments of strikes and parries, Dooku managed to disarm Ventress' lightsabers from her hands with the Force.
After disarming her with telekinetic Force, he poured a blast lightning into her body.
Dooku is able to deflect Ventress' assault and disarm her - she is vulnerable.
Dooku approaches a wounded Ventress with his lightsaber blade.
An injured and weakened Asajj looks to her former master who tells her it's time to end this.
Standing over his wounded foe, Dooku raised his blade and stabbed downward; trying to finish the job he had failed to do once before.
Ventress watched as Dooku moved to execute her with a swift downward strike.
Ventress was able to narrowly avoid death by using the Force to push his blade into the piping beside her instead.
Just as the blade was about to pierce her, Ventress Force pushed the blade, causing it to miss her by inches and, instead, stab into a steam line.
Harsh gasses flowed out of the severed pipe and into Dooku's face, allowing Ventress just enough time to retreat.
Ventress seized the opportunity and recovered her lightsabers with the Force.
Asajj dived into an escape pod and jettison to safety.
Weakened and outmatched, Ventress finally retreats in an escape pod, jettisoning toward Toydaria below.
Ventress escaped again, ejecting from Dooku's ship in an escape pod - and facing an uncertain future.
The debacle at Toydaria rattled Ventress, who took to wandering the stars for a time to contemplate her next moves then eventually decided that the time had come to return to Dathomir and make it her home.
She traveled back to the planet aboard an HH-87 Starhopper and was greeted by her sisters.
Ventress returned to Dathomir to once again seek refuge with Mother Talzin.
Ventress reunites with Talzin in the witch's lair.
Asajj humbly returns to her home planet seeking sanctuary.
Asajj Ventress returns to the headquarters of the Nightsisters on Dathomir, where Mother Talzin welcomes her back with open arms.
Asajj tells the Mother that she has been hiding reevaluating.
She explained to Talzin what had happened with Opress.
Ventress believed she was now powerless because Opress had forsaken the Nightsisters and fled into the galaxy.
Asajj conferred with the Clan Shaman on the subject of her future, as she was uncertain of what to do now that she was no longer Dooku's agent and claimed to have nothing.
The Nightsister leader insisted that she needed to abandon the Sith ways in totality.
Talzin tells Ventress to rejoin her sisters as a member of the coven.
Talzin recommends that Ventress should cast off her ambitions to become a Sith and fully reintegrate herself in the ranks of the Nightsisters.
Talzin tells Asajj she will be loyal to only herself and sisters, abandoning all vestiges of her past life as Dooku's assassin.
Ventress wonders what happens after she joins them.
Mother Talzin tells Ventress she will fulfill her destiny and become a true Nightsister.
The coven gathered in the village to participate in Ventress' baptism into the Nightsister clan, a ceremony led by Talzin and her spellcasters.
The ceremony required a Nightsister shaman and a full coven of spellcasters that was held in a dark river in the Nightsister fortress.
Ventress steps into an oily subterranean lake.
In the dark ichor-infused waters of the coven's fortress, the witches gathered around to perform the ceremony.
The Mother question the would-be Nightsister on their loyalty to their clan, magics and old ways.
Ventress pledges herself to the sisterhood.
Talzin questions Ventress if she abandons her old life for this new one while the coven performs the spell.
The prospective Sister had answered affirmatively to all questions, she were to be submerged into the waters.
Ventress repeats the mantra of giving up her loyalty and life.
After Ventress repeated a pledge to her honor her sisters with loyalty above all else, she was bathed in the waters.
In a baptism of dark magics, Ventress is bathed in a shimmering green mist.
The coven performed the magic ritual to rebirth her.
The Nightsister was wrapped in magical ichor by the Mother, and lifted from the lake.
The initiate was bathed in magic ichor while the Clan Mother proclaimed the baptism rites.
Ventress underwent the initiation ritual completing the spell.
For a moment, Asajj's eyes rolled back into her head.
Ventress' eyes returned to their natural state, signifying the beginning of her life as a Nightsister.
Mother Talzin ultimately declared Asajj Ventress to be a reborn Sister of the Night.
Talzin called for a feast to celebrate the formal return of their long-lost sister.
After the baptism, the Nightsisters organized a feast to celebrate the arrival of their new Sister.
Talzin joined her clan as they gathered outside the great edifice of the village to recognize the induction of their newest member.
Karis tells Asajj she is privileged to be her sister.
Ventress thanks Karis for the kind words.
Ventress suddenly hears the approach of the incoming starfighters from the skies.
During the celebration of her baptism, Ventress recognized the familiar sound of droid starfighters and realized before the rest that the coven was under assault.
Interrupting the Nightsisters celebration of Ventress' return, the droids attacked their village.
She ordered her sisters to scatter just as Vulture droids and Hyena bombers made their first attack runs on the fortress.
The Nightsisters took cover as the bombers attacked their home, scattering for cover from the bombing runs.
Understanding that the Confederacy had come to Dathomir to end the Nightsisters, Talzin ordered her clan to prepare for battle while Ventress readied herself to lead the fight.
Talzin rallied her sisters for the defense of their home and lives.
Ventress was upset that her presence brought Dooku's wrath upon her people.
Talzin encouraged her to push past her regret as now was the time to fight.
Ventress knew that Grievous was leading the battle and Talzin told her to use her knowledge of the Separatist battle droids to lead their people to victory.
The droids continued their bombing runs against the fortress, where Ventress stood.
A squadron of Hyena-class bombers and droid tri-fighters continued to besiege the stronghold, targeting the supports of the village entrance where Ventress, Talzin and Karis took cover.
One of the supports fell on the Nightsister Karis shocking Talzin and Asajj.
The bombs caused a pillar to fall, breaking apart into debris which crushed Karis before she could get out of the way and Ventress ran to her sister.
Asajj used the Force to move the part of the pillar that had fallen on her.
Ventress levitated the beam away with the Force.
Asajj managed to pull her out, but Karis said her last few words about leading the Nightsisters to victory, and died.
Ventress took a moment to mourn her fallen sister.
Ventress was left with no time for regret and activated her crimson blades.
Recognizing that the witches were vastly outnumbered, Ventress informed Talzin that they would need an army to have any chance at defeating Grievous.
Talzin told Ventress she would seek out Old Daka, an elder witch who would be able to assemble the required reinforcements.
Ventress speaks to Mother Talzin within her magic shield about the situation.
Ventress rushed into the fray against the first wave of droids, leading her sisters in an offensive against the invading army.
Leaving Talzin to raise their reserves, Ventress activated her lightsabers and took up command of her fellow warriors.
Ventress spearheaded an offensive to drive back the droids.
Ventress and the Nightsisters run into battle against the droid army.

The witches gained ground under her leadership.
Asajj witnesses a Defoliator Deployment Tank reach the battle zone.
The Defoliator Tank fires blasts into the forest, destroying many of the Nightsisters and their protective trees.
The blast of fire claimed the lives of a number of Nightsisters and forced the rest to take cover from the burning carnage.
With no cover left for the witches to escape the droids' blaster fire.
Ventress and Naa'leth run ahead of the fire.
Ventress turns to see an army of undead Nightsisters.
At that moment, the Nightsisters' reinforcements arrived in the form of the Army of the Dead and joined Asajj.
Sustained by Daka's Chant of Resurrection, the deceased sisters were reanimated as zombies, arriving to aid Ventress to push back the Separatists.
The undead sisters mindlessly ripped through the Separatists' ranks, smashing through everything in their path.
Their arrival gave Ventress the opportunity to press her attack against Grievous and his droid army.
Ventress and Naa'leth land atop of a AAT.
Asajj removes the destroyed battle droid from the tank with the Force.
Ventress jumps into the driver seat of the AAT.
With the aid of these zombified sisters, the Nightsisters overwhelmed the droids and Ventress was able to commandeer an Armored Assault Tank.
Ventress pilots the tank while Naa'leth fires arrows from it.
Ventress commandeers an AAT tank and fires its main cannon at the Defoliator Tank destroying the enemy cannon.
Asajj states the Army of the Dead will clear a path right to Grievous.
After destroying the Defoliator Tanks threatening her people, she drove the commandeered tank directly towards Grievous' staging area with the Army of the Dead clearing a path.
Ventress and the Nightsisters reached the deployment site aboard their stolen tank.
Ventress abandoned the tank and leapt into the red sky.
Asajj leaped over waves of battle droids.
Ventress continues leaping over battle droids and commandos.
Ventress killed the pilot droid while her sisters laid waste to the automatons behind her.
Asajj destroys the last of the battle droids guarding the landing craft.
Ventress makes her way toward the landing craft unscathed.
Once Ventress and her army arrived, Grievous disembarked from his ship with several IG-100 MagnaGuard bodyguards, ordering his battle group to hold position.
Asajj issued similar orders to the Nightsisters to hold their positions.
She was greeted at the ships by Grievous and insisted that if she was the target of the invasion, then the two should face one another in a duel.
Ventress states if Grievous were to win, then the Nightsisters would surrender, but if she was victorious then the Confederate army was to leave.
The Droid General emerges with four lightsabers and engages Ventress in a duel.
With their respective armies holding their distance, Ventress met Grievous in the no-man's land and challenged him to single combat.
Grievous battles Ventress to force her army to surrender.
The two longtime rivals began to duel, engaging in saberlock after saberlock.
Ventress employed her dual lightsabers against Grievous' four.
At one point, Grievous kicked Ventress backward.
At first, Grievous appeared to have the upper hand and toyed with Ventress.
The Nightsister responded with a furious attack.
Ventress and Grievous combine all six lightsabers together in a clash.
Asajj and Grievous outmaneuver each other.
Ventress and Grievous continue dueling each other while their armies stand and watch.
The two then engaged in a fierce lightsaber duel and initially seemed equally matched.
Asajj relentlessly battered at her adversary's defenses.
In a lightsaber duel, Ventress gets the better of Grievous.
Ventress severed one of Grievous' four mechanical arms and knocked him to the ground.
Ventress stands victorious over her fallen adversary and attempted to finish him off.
Holding all the cards militarily, with no intention of honoring the result of the duel, and no longer entertained by the sport of it, Grievous ordered his battle droids to kill her and all of her sisters.
Yet despite being bested, Grievous ordered his battle droids to kill Ventress, forcing her to direct her attention to deflecting enemy fire.
His sudden reneging on the terms of the duel threw the battle into chaos, in which Ventress was shot in the shoulder by a droid.
As all-out fighting erupted on the battlefield between the Separatists and the Nightsisters, one laser shot slipped through Ventress' blades, hitting her in the shoulder.
The wound provided Grievous an opportunity to exploit her momentary distraction.
Grievous towered over Ventress, ready to finish her off.
Before he could execute her, a horde of Nightsister zombies intervened, attacking the cyborg general while Ventress stumbled out of his range.
Outnumbered, she has no choice but to retreat while Grievous gloats.
The Nightsister Luce grabbed the wounded Ventress and began carrying her away from the battle.
As Luce was getting Ventress away from the battle, she was shot in the back by a B1 Battle Droid.
Ventress swiftly destroyed the battle droids with the Force.
Ventress held Luce in her arms, as she stated that doom was upon them, and to run in order to save herself.
After Luce died, Asajj mourned her fallen sister.
Advised by her savior to flee in the face of their impending doom, Ventress — having seen so many comrades fall that day — retreated from the battleground and limped into the jungle mists, abandoning her coven.
Ventress limped into the forest while the Army of the Undead and the remaining Nightsisters were wiped out.
In the aftermath of the battle, Ventress wandered the Dathomirian wilderness alone and injured.
In the now-still Dathomir forests, Asajj survives.
A wounded Ventress stumbles in the Dathomiri wilderness.
Alone in the forest, Ventress experienced a specter of Talzin, communicating from the realm of spirits informing her that the battle was lost.
Ventress learns her people have been wiped out and blamed herself for the eradication.
Once again left alone, Asajj questions where to go and what to do now.
Talzin encouraged her to continue her life before again dissipating in a green mist.
Although the younger Nightsister pleaded with her not to leave, Talzin insisted that she move on from this chapter of her life and follow her own path.
Devastated, Ventress screamed for Talzin to return but was instead left alone in the forest to forge her own path yet again.
An anguished Ventress begs for Talzin but the Mother disappears.
Ventress saddened after being abandoned thinking she was the last survivor of her order.
In the wake of the massacre, with her destiny always be tied with that of the Nightsisters, Ventress was left alone.
A desolate Asajj alone in the Dathomir forest faces an uncertain future.
A devastated Ventress eventually made it off of Dathomir and to the lawless desert world of Tatooine.
Ventress exits the vagabond transport and gets blinded by the twin suns.
Asajj would be largely anonymous among the seedy spaceport city of Mos Eisley.
With her past life lying in shambles at her feet, Asajj Ventress' aimless drifting finally comes to a temporary halt in a seedy spaceport tavern on Tatooine.
Ventress wanders into a seedy cantina.
Asajj orders prow straight-up from the bartender.
Ventress begins to drown her sorrows in alcohol.
While drinking in the cantina, Oked noticed the Dathomirian woman Asajj Ventress walk in and order a drink.
Ventress drinks through her sorrows in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina.
Ventress orders another shot of prow from the bartender.
Oked approached her and tried to strike up conversation.
Ventress was propositioned by the bounty hunter Oked, who she soundly dismissed.
One of the patrons makes a pass at her, and when he does not take kindly to her rebuffs, Ventress is forced to emphasize her point.
Ventress murders Oked for his aggressive propositioning.
When he continued to harass her despite being rejected, she casually impaled him with her lightsaber and continued drinking.
Asajj tells the deceased Oked that she's not much of a talker.
The bartender gives Ventress a drink as compliments of a lizard bounty hunter.
Upon this, she is invited by two bounty hunters, Bossk and Latts Razzi, for a drink.
Asajj is called to a back booth by bounty hunters Bossk and Latts Razzi.
Bossk and Latts tell Ventress they have a problem.
Ventress inquires about their problem while gripping her lightsabers.
They informed her that Oked had been a member of their syndicate of hunters and Ventress feigns forgiveness.
They like Ventress' style and ask her if she ever consider being a bounty hunter.
Bossk insisted that Ventress join in Oked's place given that she was the reason for the newly opened position or they would deliver her to the authorities.
Having no other direction or plan, Ventress agreed.
Bossk and Razzi escorted Ventress to their Mos Eisley safehouse.
In a Mos Eisley slum, Bossk and Latts add Ventress to their merry band of bounty hunters lead by the teenaged Boba Fett.
Ventress made her displeasure at having to answer to the adolescent Fett known immediately.
Boba asks for her name, but Ventress states she doesn't have one.
Ventress clashes immediately about his youth and the resultant lack of skill she perceives in it.
Bossk hisses at Ventress when she chastises Boba.
Bossk explains how she killed Oked and blackmailed her into taking the job.
Latts Razzi approaches Ventress' side and gives her a dry smile.
Needing money to get by anyway, Ventress agrees to participate in their job.
Although the young man wanted her thrown off the team, Razzi reminded him that their upcoming job required six hunters.
Fett accepted Ventress's membership out of necessity, despite her refusal to take orders or reveal her identity to the team.
Ventress asks Boba if they settle payment first.
Boba states he'll pay her once the job is done, which does not sit well with Ventress.
Together, the five bounty hunters and Ventress departed Tatooine aboard Bossk's ship, the Hound's Tooth, and made way for their target on the planet Quarzite.
The six bounty hunters proceed to an orbital elevator station above Quarzite.
Latts, Highsinger and Ventress arrived at the world's skyhook space station.
The team were greeted by the Belugan Major Rigosso, a representative of the Belugan dictator of Quarzite, Otua Blank.
Rigosso explained to the team that, due to the world's completely pressurized atmosphere, he and the hunters would travel from the station to the inhabited subsurface of Quarzite via the skyhook's turbolifts.
Ventress and the team enter the turbolift chamber.
Ventress and Dengar share a lift together as they descend.
The bounty hunters arrive on the surface of Quarzite.
There they would find their objective: precious cargo that was to be protected from marauders as it was delivered to Blank's fortress via subtram.
The hunters enter a subtram containing cargo valuable that they were to protect.
Rigosso leaves strict instructions to the hunters not to open the ornate box that holds the cargo.
Dengar, along with Ventress, were assigned to guard the rear of the train.
Ventress rode to the crystalline subsurface with Dengar, where the two of them and the rest of the team were joined my members of Rigosso's guard.

Ventress held off three attackers using only unarmed combat.
Asajj activated her lightsabers after the warriors drew their own blades.
Ventress activates her lightsabers and engages the three warriors.
Dengar was overwhelmed by the assault and fell off the tram as Ventress fought.
Ventress leaps away from the invaders and lands atop the train.
Ventress searches for the invading Kage warriors.
Asajj was left alone to fend off the invaders on the back of the tram alone.
Ventress swipes two Kage warriors off the tram.
Ventress and a Kage warrior take swings at each other.

Ventress scowls at the passing Kage leader.
Ventress kills an ambushing Kage warrior by slicing him with her swords.
After eliminating all combatants on the tram's rear, Ventress made her way towards the cargo compartment.
There she discovered Krismo Sodi standing over an unconscious Fett and Otua Blank's newly freed cargo: Pluma Sodi, sister to the Warriors' leader.
The cargo door opened and Asajj struts in telling Krismo that the girl is worth a lot of money to her.
Ventress demanded that Krismo step aside so she could claim her bounty and ignites her lightsabers.
Krismo instead released a smoke bomb obscuring the cabin.
Ventress raises her defenses in the darkened corridor of the tram.
Krismo hid in the darkened recesses of the cabin.
Ventress continues searching for the hidden Kage leader in the cabin.
Ventress grips onto her twin blades in her search.
Ventress spots Krismo undercover from the obscuring clouds.
Krismo attacks Ventress blocking her lightsaber hand.
The Kage leader managed to ambush and disarm Ventress moments later.
Before the siblings can escape, however, Ventress arrives.
Ventress ducks as Krismo does a swing kick but misses her.
Asajj blocks a strike from Krismo.
Krismo encountered Asajj Ventress and the two fought.
Ventress arrives on the scene and uses her abilities to briefly subdue Krismo.

Ventress punches Krismo in the face.
In a quick duel, Ventress fights Krismo.
The two engaged in a vicious fistfight.
After hand-to-hand combat, Asajj knocked Sodi down.
The fight was ended when the Dathomirian seized her opponent's throat with the Force.
Ventress slams Sodi away from her.
Asajj slammed Krismo Sodi against the wall.
Ventress lifts Krismo in a telekinetic hold.
Ventress threw Sodi across the tram with the Force.
Fett awoke moments later, oblivious to Ventress' display of Force power and chided him for not realizing that the girl was a captive.
Asajj shackles Krismo and Pluma so the hunters can continue their mission.
Ventress was assigned to guard the prisoners for the final leg of their journey aboard the tram, during which time Pluma Sodi attempted to appeal to her better nature, explaining that she had been ripped away from her family and home.
As the tram continues its journey, Pluma pleas her plight to Ventress, her entreaty about the unfairness of being ripped from her home seemingly striking a chord with her.
Ventress replied that she wished she didn't know what it felt like, having also been taken from her life at a young age.
Ventress, who had recently suffered a heavy loss of her own on her homeworld, ultimately sympathized with the siblings' plight.
Boba enters the tram and tells Asajj he needs her in the back.
Ventress contemplates her mission but obeys Boba's command.
Ventress tells Pluma that she was right that she is only another job to her.
Ventress commands Pluma and Krismo not to move.
Ventress leaves the siblings in the darkened cabin to join Boba in the back of the tram.
Boba and Asajj meet in the hold of the tram.
Fett revealed that she would only get a small cut while he would receive the majority share.
Boba, on the other hand, intended to continue with the operation and Ventress approached him.
Asajj grabs Fett's face in a threatening maneuver.
Ventress calls Boba a boy telling him not to test her.
Ventress takes over the job saying she will be delivering the cargo and collecting the bounty.
Fett and Ventress proceeded to argue about Pluma's situation.
She and Boba begin to argue about their part in the mission and their share of the bounty.
Tempers quickly flare as Boba yells at Ventress stating he is in charge of the mission.
A heated debate that ended with Ventress choking Fett with the Force.
Ventress lost patience with the young hunter during their argument and grabbed him in a Force choke — a display that shocked Fett.
The tram arrives at its final destination, where Otua Blank is eagerly awaiting his prize.
The tram arrives at Otua Blank's stronghold and Ventress exits with the chest.
Finally, the tram arrived at the orbital station, where Otua Blank was eagerly anticipating his bride-to-be.
Ventress presented the chest to Otua Blank.
As his guards went to retrieve the box, she demanded the credits first.
Asajj delivered the container on her own to Otua Blank at his fortress and was presented the bounty.
Ventress is shown the bounty, Blank's payment of 600,000 unmarked credits.
Asajj collected a significant bounty of unmarked credits from the client.
She received them and got back on the train.
After receiving her payment, Asajj takes her leave.
The loathsome warlord takes delivery of the cargo from Asajj after accepting his payment and departs aboard the subtram.
Before leaving, Ventress tells the warlord to enjoy his prize.
It wasn't until after Ventress departed once more aboard the subtram that Blank opened his prize to find Fett in the place of Pluma Sodi.
While the tram makes its journey back to the elevator station, Ventress continues to hold Pluma hostage.
Later, halfway back to the station, Ventress took Pluma and Krismo to the very back of the subtram where she stated he pay her price first then he gets the girl.
Krismo signaled a Milodon while Ventress held Pluma.
The Kage warriors arrive on the tram with their milodon.
Ventress forced Sodi to have the Kage Warriors pay a ransom for Pluma's release.
Sodi was hesitant finding Ventress to be untrustworthy.
Krismo nonetheless agreed and had the Kage pay the ransom.
Ventress honored the agreement and let Pluma go.
Before departing on a milodon alongside her brother, Pluma thanked Ventress for her mercy.
When Ventress got her additional credits from the Kage, she released Pluma, who thanked her before the warriors departed.
Ventress watches the siblings leave from the tram.
Ventress watches the Quarzite scenery yearningly.
Asajj returned to the skyhook turbolifts to meet the remaining members of the bounty hunter team in the space station above.
Ventress delivers the bounty in full upon rendezvousing with the rest of the team.
Ventress subtracted her share from Blank's bounty payment and returned the rest to Bossk.
Ventress told them Boba's share was still intact for when he could receive it.
Bossk inquired about Boba's whereabouts and Asajj says he'll turn up.
She then said she would quit bounty hunting, as she did not enjoy the ambiguity of morality it involved.
Although the hunters commended her work for the team, Ventress insisted that she wasn't part of their syndicate.
Ventress states she used to be like them but she is not that person anymore.
With her share of the missions profits and the ransom money for the captives, she walked away from the team, saying she now had a future to look forward to.
Ventress then parts company with the bounty hunters, but with a more mellowed disposition in her life and a stronger confidence in what the future may yet hold for her.
Following the Quarzite job, Ventress returned to Tatooine and frequented the Mos Eisley Cantina enjoying the company of fellow hunter Latts Razzi.
Ventress and Latts shared a drink in the cantina.
Ventress was sitting in a cantina with Latts when she reacted to the door suddenly opening.
Razzi was later seen back at Chalmun's sharing a table with Ventress and was worried that her new associate was on edge.
Ventress became increasingly wary of a presence from her past by gripping her lightsaber.
Even the arrival of new patrons startled her and Latts questioned her reaction.
Ventress tells Latts she's not sure.
Ventress told her that she had thought that she sensed someone from her past.
Latts question who is this someone occupying her thoughts.
With further questioning from Latts, Ventress specified that the being she feared was a monster.
While she was enjoying a drink alone in the cantina not long after her work with Fett's syndicate, she overheard bounty hunters gathered around the cantina transmitter discussing a particularly valuable target: one million credits in exchange for the capture of Savage Opress.
Although another hunter intended to take the job, Ventress pushed her way towards the transmitter and insisted that this particular bounty was hers.
Having recently been plagued by shadowy disturbances in the Force, the source of them being Opress, Ventress claimed the bounty for herself.
She claimed the posting from the bounty boards.
Asajj claims Savage Opress' bounty in the form of a miniature hologram.
Ventress set out to hunt down the estranged Nightbrother.
Ventress departed Tatooine aboard an HH-87 Starhopper to hunt down her old Nightbrother pawn.
Her search ultimately led her to Raydonia, and set down just outside a desolate settlement.
Ventress sneaks around the wilderness of Raydonia.
She found a Turtle Tanker starship preparing for takeoff.
Just before the Turtle Tanker takes off, Ventress has landed on the planet, found their ship and hitched a ride.
Assuming Opress was within, she jumped onto the hull of the ship and climbed aboard as it lifted towards space.
Ventress hid in the upper reaches of the vessel's cargo hold, where she discovered Obi-Wan Kenobi being beaten and tortured by none other than Darth Maul.
Savage intended to relish his vengeance but is exquisite moment is cut short by the cackles of Asajj Ventress.
After the ship was airborne, Ventress revealed herself to the two brothers.
When Opress returned from the cockpit to join Maul's torment of Kenobi, Ventress revealed herself.
Ventress insults Savage's brother telling him he's half the man Opress is.
Appearing before the two brothers, Asajj taunts them.
Ventress states she was looking for a challenge not some wretched cast-offs from the Nightbrothers clan.
Ventress taunted the brothers before vanishing into the darkness of the cargo hold once more.
Ventress had in fact remained in the hold to comfort the unconscious Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Ventress returns to an unconscious Obi-Wan and lifts him up.
Moments later, Ventress managed to wake up the unconscious Jedi by slapping him.
Asajj slips past them to shake Kenobi awake.
The Jedi was shocked to see his old adversary, as she was still widely believed to have been killed at the Battle of Sullust.
With the battered Jedi Master left unguarded, Ventress quickly came to Kenobi's aid and brought him to his feet.
Opress quickly returned, however, and surrounded Ventress and Kenobi.
Despite the sudden change in roles, the two quickly accepted one another as necessary allies in the fight against Opress and Maul.
The two brothers returned to the cargo hold with Maul activating his lightsaber to confront the Jedi and Ventress.
Left with no choice but to work together, Ventress handed Kenobi one of her lightsabers.
Asajj tells Kenobi that she wants her lightsaber back after this.
Ventress roused Kenobi, and gave him one of her lightsabers, to defend himself when the brothers come back.
Obi-Wan activates Ventress' red blade preparing to battle.
When they returned, they found that she had come to Kenobi's aid, supplying him with one of her lightsabers to make a stand against their common foes.
A lightsaber duel began, with Opress pitting their combined strength against Ventress and Kenobi.
Ventress about to take on her former servant Opress.
The two engaged the brothers in lightsaber combat.
It wasn't long before the two were confronted by the brothers, and a fierce lightsaber battle quickly ensued in the cramped interior of the tanker's hold.
In the course of the battle, Opress crossed blades with both the Jedi Master and the bounty hunter, mainly focusing on the latter combatant.
Maul engages in a lightsaber duel with Kenobi while Ventress duels Savage.
The four combatants engaged in a lethal duel, with the Dathomirian engaging Opress and the Jedi battling the disgraced Sith Lord.
Ventress held her own against Opress trying to use the Force on him.
Asajj tried to strike Savage but misses and hits a crate.
Ventress was eventually overwhelmed by his unnatural strength and disarmed.
Ventress is dazed from Opress' knock-out blow.
Opress grabs a hold of Ventress by her leg and pulls her out.
After knocking her lightsaber out of her grip, Opress slammed her against some of the cargo hold's crates.
She quickly retaliated by Force pushing several crates toward him.
Ventress then jumped onto Opress' shoulders.
She assaulted him with punches to the head.
Savage slams Ventress hard to the ground.
Yet Opress retained the upper hand due to the fact that Asajj was unarmed.
Ventress uppercuts Savage in the chin.
Savage retaliates by punching Ventress down.
Ventress kicks a crate at Opress blocking his path.
Ventress briefly takes a seat in the cargo hold.
Savage tries to stab Asajj with his double-bladed lightsaber but she dodges the attack.
Ventress continued battling Opress unarmed.
Obi-Wan noticed that she was starting to lose from her battle with Savage Opress.
Kenobi calls out to Ventress who turns to face him.
Kenobi was able to retrieve his own lightsaber from Maul and returned the loaned red saber back to Ventress.
Once Kenobi reclaimed his own lightsaber from Maul and returned Ventress' lightsaber to her, Opress engaged her in saberlock after saberlock.
Maul and Opress battle Kenobi and Ventress aboard their Turtle Tanker.
With one of Ventress' lightsabers, Kenobi managed to use the Force to take his lightsaber from a furious Darth Maul, passing Ventress' lightsaber back to her.
Unfortunately, the unlikely duo's combined efforts weren't enough to fend off the two brothers.
The duel continued until both the Jedi and Nightsister realized they were outmatched.
Ventress reacts sarcasmly when Kenobi tells her he learned to run from her.
Both decided that it had become necessary for them to flee.
Eventually, Kenobi and Ventress concluded that they were outmatched and decided to retreat.
Kenobi and Ventress found themselves outmatched despite their best efforts, and were forced to make a hasty retreat.
Maul attempted to breach her defenses with his brute strength.
While Kenobi ran for the cockpit escape module, Ventress held off Maul while he engaged Opress.
The duo switched places, with Kenobi battling Savage and Maul dueling with Asajj.
Ventress dodged around Opress' and Maul's blades.
Ventress back-flipped and pushed Opress towards the back of the cargo hold.
Asajj leaps into the air with assistance from Obi-Wan.
Ventress waves her hands and pushes Opress back through force of will.
Ventress runs from Maul to reach the Turtle Tanker's detachable cockpit.
Ventress flees to the command module of the Turtle Tanker and shuts the door.
They retreated to the cockpit of the ship and Maul stabbed his lightsaber into the door narrowly missing Ventress.
The two brothers try to cut through the airlock blast doors.
Not about to let their enemies run free, the brothers began to cut through the airlock with their lightsabers while Ventress yelled at Kenobi to hurry.
Kenobi activated the escape module function and detaching from the cargo hold.
The Nightbrothers almost cut through the blaster doors causing a fearful Ventress to panic.
Ventress rushes Obi-Wan to take control and ejected the cockpit into space.
The narrow escape rattled both Ventress and Obi-Wan.
Ventress walks away from the blast door shakened as she states that was a close call.
Following their narrow escape, Kenobi warned Ventress that the brothers would now be after both of them as well.
Ventress followed her new career as a bounty hunter and eventually began work out of a residence on Level 1312 in the seedy lower levels of Coruscant.
Ahsoka leaves the train station continuing on foot through a seedy level of the undercity but is spotted by a shadowy figure with a wraparound helmet that stalks her with great interest.
She eventually tracked Tano to Level 1313 of the undercity and followed her for a time until the young Togruta was alone in an alley.
The hunter follows Ahsoka to an abandoned, vermin-infested building in the lower levels.
The bounty hunter prepares to leap off the balcony.
As a cloaked Ahsoka walks through the alley, the masked assailant twirls on a wire.
She leaped from scaffolding above and tackled Tano.
Tano, wanted by the Galactic Senate for a large fee, and after escaping numerous underworld police, was seized by former Sith assassin — turned — bounty hunter.
Ahsoka is attacked and pinned by the helmeted hunter: the twin red bladed lightsabers identify the masked assailant.
She performed her work in a helmet with a retractable faceplate that obscured her identity.
She pinned her to the ground with her two sabers scissored over the Padawan's neck.
The bounty hunter laughs and presses a button on the side of her helmet.
Asajj Ventress reveals herself with some amusement that Ventress realizes she is going to collect the bounty on her longtime Padawan foe.
Ventress confiscates Ahsoka's remaining lightsaber.
After revealing her identity, Tano assumed it was Ventress who framed her for the crimes she was accused of committing, but the Dathomirian had no familiarity with the charges.
She only intended to find Tano to collect the Senate's bounty.
Ventress helps Tano off the ground.
Tano was ambushed by Asajj Ventress, now a bounty hunter.
Asajj smiles pleasantly as she captures the wanted Padawan.
Ventress took custody of Tano and escorted her towards the landing platform at Terminal 24 of the undercity transportation hub.
The young Jedi still tried to reason with her, insisting that a Separatist war criminal and Sith could not simply hand her over to the Jedi Council without retribution but Ventress had intended to hand her over to a bondsman to collect her bounty.
Tano remains defiant and states she is still a Jedi.
Ventress counters that she's afraid the other Jedi will not see it that way.
Ahsoka says she hates to admit it but Ventress is right and that she is going to need her help.
Asajj lifts her helmet and asks the Padawan in what star system does she think they'll ever be in to do that.
Ahsoka explains that a rogue Jedi has betrayed the Order and carried out the bombing.
Ventress laughs and says the Jedi aren't that holy after all.
Tano tries to hatch a bargain by appealing to a tragic commonality shared by Ahsoka and Ventress: both have been abandoned by their Order, since Dooku betrayed her and she has been presumed guilty by the Jedi.
She sympathized with Tano's position as a student abandoned and betrayed by her masters.
Ventress was still hesitant, asking the Padawan what can she give her that's better than money.
Tano promised to persuade the Jedi Council and the Senate to grant Ventress a pardon for her crimes.
The two struck an agreement; Ventress would help prove Tano's innocence, and in return, Tano would try to convince the Jedi and Senate to pardon Ventress for her war crimes.
This catches Ventress' attention, but agreed to aid Tano in her quest for justice provided the Padawan advocate for her pardoning to the Council and Galactic Senate.
Ventress tells Tano that if the tide turns against her, she won't forget the bounty that's on her head.
Ventress continues to hold onto Tano's lightsaber and the Padawan agrees to her terms.
Asajj and Ahsoka come to an understanding and agree to team-up.
Such bargaining is cut short with Anakin's police ship hovers towards terminal 24.
While descending into the underworld, Skywalker and his forces spotted Ventress and Tano with their searchlights.
The two would find themselves being pursued by clone squads, led by Ahsoka's master Anakin Skywalker and Council member Plo Koon.
Skywalker leaps from the gunship to the platform as Ahsoka and Ventress scurry into the shadows.
Ventress led the young Togruta to safety, sealing them behind a ray shield.
The two are spotted by Anakin's ship, and they quickly escape past a force-field.
Asajj erects a ray-shield at the terminal gate stalling Anakin's pursuit with him exchanging a glance with Ahsoka.
Ventress touches Tano's shoulder signaling it's time to leave.
Although still wary of their deal and planning to turn Tano in if it proved more profitable to do so, Ventress led the wayward Padawan to her hideout on Level 1312.
Asajj leads Ahsoka even further down, to Level 1312, even more decrepit than the last and stop at a public communicator box.
Ventress asks Tano if she's adding another criminal act to her record.
There, the Togruta rewired a holobooth to contact her friend, Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee, without being traced by the authorities.
Asajj rolls her eyes when Tano mentions to Barriss that they were almost captured.
Managing to temporarily elude their pursuers, Ventress and Tano stopped to make a covert transmission to the Jedi Temple, where Ahsoka's friend Barriss Offee sought out clues that would help her find the figure who had framed her.
Tano ended her conversation and approached Ventress.
Unbeknownst to both women, a Republic probe droid had followed them there and relayed their location to a search party led by Clone Commander CC-3636.
Asajj tells Ahsoka that it seems like she doesn't need her help anymore.
Ahsoka informed Ventress that proof of her innocence may be found in an abandoned munitions warehouse on Level 1315.
Ventress was familiar with the location and agreed to take the Padawan there.
But the two were interrupted by CC-3636's team of clones.
As Asajj plans to get Tano to the munitions warehouse, the two women are suddenly surrounded by Wolffe and a dozen clone troopers.
Ahsoka raises her hands and tries to order the clones to back down while Ventress presses the side of her helmet.
Ventress lowers the adjustable set of her helmet headgear to enhance her aura of secrecy and readies to fight.
Before they could leave, Tano and Ventress were confronted by a clone squad led by Commander Wolffe, who demanded that they surrender.
Tano tells the clone troops that they are not going to hurt any of them and looks to Ventress.
Asajj ignites her lightsabers and says let's play to the troopers.
A brawl ensued, with Ventress activating her lightsabers and cutting through the clone soldiers' blasters.
Ventress swings her lightsabers towards the troopers.
Her strikes are to disarm, though and not to kill.
With no success in negotiating, they engage in a fight.
Ventress kicks one of the several Coruscant guards.
After a failed attempt to negotiate with the troopers, Ventress deactivates her blades.
Ventress resorts to hand-to-hand combat and punches a shock trooper.
Ventress engages in a fist-fight temporarily incapacitating the clones.
Tano also joined the fight, making sure that she and her criminal accomplice did not harm the troopers beyond rendering them unconscious.
Wolffe grappled with Ventress, grabbing her from behind and lifting her off her feet.
Wolffe continues to hold a snarling Ventress but she manages to kick a clone trooper aside.
She broke free of his grasp before knocking him into a pillar.
After helping Tano incapacitate the clones, Ventress raises her helmet.
Tano and Ventress managed to disarm the clones.
Ventress specifically refrained from killing any of the clones for Tano's benefit and to prove that she had moved into a new phase of her life.
As the two made their escape, Wolffe, left battered on the floor, alerted Plo Koon of their failed arrest.
Afterwards, she led her new ally to the munitions warehouse on Level 1315.
Ahsoka and Ventress approach the dilapidated warehouse on Level 1315.
Soon, Ventress and Tano arrived safely at their location an abandoned munitions warehouse.
Asajj claimed that she had fulfilled her half of the bargain.
At the warehouse, Ventress departs, reminding Ahsoka that she still has her half of the deal to hold up.
She returned Tano's lightsaber to her and departed, reminding the Jedi that she was to advocate for her pardoning to the Republic.
Tano commented that she hadn't ever previously envisioned working with Ventress, to which Asajj replied that "these were strange times."
Ventress considered her end of the bargain fulfilled and left the Padawan to continue her hunt for answers.
Ventress returned to her hideout on Level 1312.
Asajj walks down a darkened alley.
She sensed some continuing danger on her walk home.
Her attention is drawn as she senses someone behind her.
However, after Tano had left her company, she sensed a presence.
Asajj initially believed it was Tano and called out to her.
She assumes it is Ahsoka and grabs one of her lightsabers.
She was briefly distracted by a tooka cat.
Ventress, annoyed, turns to take her leave.
Asajj is caught unprepared as she is suddenly knocked over by a thrown barrel.
She was ambushed by an unseen force who hurled a metal barrel at Ventress' head.
The barrel knocked Ventress to the ground and removed her helmet.
Ventress was taken by surprise when a mysterious assailant managed to immobilize her.
Asajj was attacked by a cloaked, Force-wielding assailant.
A hooded, cloaked figure emerges from the shadows and slams a heavy pipe onto Asajj's head.
Ventress attempted to recover, but the assailant approached her and hit her in the head with a metal pipe, knocking the bounty hunter unconscious.
The cloaked assailant — responsible for the bombing of the Temple and murder of the clones — intended to frame both Tano and Ventress for her crimes and so stole the Dathomirian's lightsabers and helmet.
Ventress collapses and the hooded figure removes the former assassin's lightsabers and picks up her fallen helmet.
She is knocked out, and the assailant takes her lightsabers and helmet.
After robbing Ventress, the assailant leaves her in the alleyway unconscious.
Ventress went back into hiding in the undercity following the attack while Tano was taken into custody.
Ventress walks in a seedy part of the Coruscant underworld.
The bounty hunter sensed the Jedi stalking her while she walked through a slum.
In the darkened underlevels of Corsucant, a hooded Jedi stalks Asajj Ventress.
The hooded Jedi sought out Ventress to capture her, bring her to justice and invalidate the current charges against Tano.
She senses his presence before he pounces.
Aware she is being followed, Ventress resumes walking down the seedy alleyway.
Skywalker traveled to the undercity to hunt down Ventress.
Asajj encountered Skywalker on one of the underlevels.
Ventress denied her involvement with the terrorist plot.
Skywalker went into the underworld and found Asajj Ventress, assuming she was the mastermind behind the recent events and she leapt away.
Asajj tries to push and kick her way free.
Ventress kicks Skywalker in the face.
Asajj jumps on a ledge away from Skywalker.
Ventress uses the Force to grab two pipes.
Deprived of her lightsabers, Ventress uses pipes to ward off Skywalker.
Skywalker ignites his lightsaber ready to do battle but Ventress yells for him to leave her alone.
Ventress swings her pipes at Skywalker's lightsaber.
Skywalker slices one of her pipes.
Ventress was still unarmed after losing her lightsabers and took off.
She led Skywalker on a chase throughout the labyrinthine pipe and walkway systems of the underlevels.
The Sith turned bounty hunter attempts to flee but Skywalker caught up with her.
The two fought briefly, but Ventress was quickly overpowered by the Jedi.
Ventress loses the last of her pipe shocking her.
Anakin overpowers her, enraged by the situation and brushing with the dark side, he shoved her against a wall with the Force.
Skywalker begins to telekinetically throttle Ventress.
Ventress was soon easily subdued by Skywalker with a Force choke.
Skywalker seized Ventress in a powerful Force choke.
Anakin wrapped his own hand around her neck.
Skywalker nearly throtted her to death while accusing the bounty hunter of setting up Tano.
Skywalker demanded to know why she had framed Tano and what her role in all of these proceedings was.
Anakin begins interrogating Ventress but quickly she admits that she wanted to turn Ahsoka in for the bounty on her head, but instead helped Ahsoka after realizing how similar they actually were.
When Ventress explained that she had only become involved for the sake of the Togruta's bounty, but ultimately sympathized with the spurned student, Skywalker released her.
Releasing her from his grip, Skywalker stood by as Ventress recounted her initial intentions to collect a bounty on Ahsoka Tano, but how she'd discovered they had more in common than she thought, much to Skywalker's fury.
Ventress snaps that she is telling the truth, as her Master had also abandoned her.
Ventress explains that Tano had been abandoned by Skywalker and the Jedi Order, just like she had been forsaken by Dooku.
In the underlevels, Ventress explains to Skywalker on a balcony.
Asajj explains to Anakin what happened after she left his Padawan at the warehouse.
She explained to the Jedi that she had been attacked after leaving Tano at the warehouse but failed to identify her assailant.
Ventress explains to Anakin how she was attacked in an alleyway after departing from Ahsoka's company.
Asajj says that someone could sneak up on her is remarkable - it points to another Jedi's involvement.
Thereafter, Ventress contended that someone of sufficient skill with the Force, likely a Jedi, had ambushed her and could only confirm that the culprit had taken her lightsabers.
After Ventress gave her story, Anakin's search is stalled as she was his only lead because she was the only person Ahsoka contacted while she was a fugitive.
While she initially couldn't think of any suspect perpetrator, she soon recalled that Tano had made contact with someone else.
Ventress eventually informs Anakin that while on the run, Ahsoka had contacted her friend, Barriss Offee, who had told them to meet her at the warehouse where the nanodroids were stored.
She also confirmed that Tano had only spoken to one other individual after her escape from prison: Barriss Offee, the Jedi that led the two of them to the munitions warehouse.
Skywalker believed Ventress' claims but warns her that he will kill her if she is lying.
Ventress slyly says such promises before he departs to confront Barriss.
Given the great body of circumstantial evidence suspiciously tying Offee's involvement in the affairs, Skywalker departed from Ventress' presence.
Ventress was thereby freed from suspicion or responsibility for the crimes at hand and stayed in the Coruscant underworld.
