Bludd is a major villain in the Spawn series. He is a vampire lord in league with the Violator. He is the main antagonist of issues 351 onwards after the events of Spawn 350.

After Downing's final confrontation with Leetha, he fell into a coma once again. Though Ramus publicly promised to continue the Jim Downing foundation and he financed Jim's healthcare, construction of the headquarters was halted by Bludd and later encounters Al Simmons blaming him for his mitsfortanes and Simmons forced to tell him where is Downing.
Bludd is seen with sinn on how to get to the dead zones and helps him take down clown’s forces. Later Bludd flees after seeing the sun. Later when the dead zones envloped earth and every angel,demon,and Hellspawn lose their powers Bludd and his vampires move in to kill them to take over earth.
Bludd has even sent his followers to destroy every angel and demon depowered.
