Now some people say he's gotten a little too big for his spats. But I say, he's a man who'll go far. Some people say he's gone too far. But I say, you can't keep a good man down. Of course he's still got a lot to learn. That big noise he made on St. Valentines Day - that wasn't very good for public relation. You let them two witnesses get away. That sure was careless. (Spats: Don't worry about those two guys. They're as good as dead. I almost caught up with them today.) You mean you let 'em get away TWICE!? Some people would say that's real sloppy. But I say, to err is human, to forgive divine.
~ Bonaparte's speech to Spats.

Little Bonaparte is the overarching antagonist of the 1959 Billy Wilder comedy film, Some Like It Hot. He's the nationwide crime syndicate boss, who's looks over Spats and his gang, along with other troops.

He was portrayed by Nehemiah Persoff.

He's first referenced when Spats arrives at Miami (ironically where the main duo tried to hide from Spats) to attend the 10th Annual "Friends of Italian Opera" gangster convention.

After Joe and Jerry hid under a table, they suddenly realized the gangsters were using that table for their meeting. Bonaparte opens the convention criticizing Spats for letting a the two witnesses get away with their knowledge. Spats states that he nearly caught up with them which only made Bonaparte more upset.

As part of the meeting, Bonaparte had arranged a "party" - to commemorate the occasion of the massacre. Bonaparte claimed he was celebrating Spats' birthday, but he knew something was up since his birthday was four months away. A giant "Happy Birthday Spats" cake is wheeled in and during the singing of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow," Joe and Jerry witness hit man Johnny Paradise leap out with a tommy gun and massacre Spats and his gang. Police Sergeant Mulligan had trailed Spats, and just after the massacre, he busts in to make a mass arrest of the assembled mob. A few of the hoods escape in their pursuit of Joe and Jerry. In unknown whether or not Bonaparte got arrested.
