General Giluke is the commander of the Great Star League Gozma, as the leader of their Earth invasion and the secondary antagonist of Dengeki Sentai Changeman.
He is played by the late Shouhei Yamamoto.
Biography[]
Past[]
Originating from the Planet Girath, Giluke was recruited into the Gozma after they conquered his planet. He once plotted to overthrow Star King Bazeu alongside his fellow general Queen Ahames as well as the Space Beast Warrior Marzo. The attempt failed, although Bazeu chose to spare both of them and separated Giluke from Ahames by sending her to work in a different division of the Gozma.
Changeman[]
After Bazeu sets his sights on Earth, Giluke is the one originally tasked by to lead the Gozma forces sent to invade the planet. However, Bazeu begins to grow frustrated with his continued failures to defeat the Changeman and the invasion becomes further complicated when Ahames arrives on Earth. While Giluke initially believes he had an ally, Ahames expresses that she has no interest in working with Giluke again and sekks to defeat the Changemen with her own power, even after Giluke saves her from Bazeu's wrath.
As he gradually begins to lose his standing with Bazeu, Giluke attempts to gain favor with Bazeu again by harnessing "Rigel Aura" of the Rigelian girl Nana that will emit when she matures into adulthood, granting himself untold amounts of power. In the course of his attempt however, Giluke finds himself with opposition not only from the Changemen but also Ahames, who seeks to obtain the Rigel Aura for herself. After Ahames basks in the aura before Giluke can get a chance to, Giluke opts to fight the Changeman a final time in a last ditch effort to prove himself now that his plan had been foiled. He is defeated after being hit by their Power Bazooka and. although he survives, as punishment for his failures, Bazeu throws his body into a black hole that leads into a space graveyard as a means of punishing him.
After landing in the space graveyard, Giluke fused with the body of a dead Space Beast to stay alive, transforming him into Ghost Giluke. With his new form, Giluke begins haunting the Changeman and Ahames due to their involvement in his death. Though he eventually discovers that Giluke was still alive, Bazoo takes an interest in Giluke's tenacity in escaping death and chooses to allow Giluke remain for the time being. Ahames however is furious and makes several failed attempts to send him back to his grave.
Giluke later attempts to go after Nana again in order to reawaken the Rigel Aura within her so he can claim it to restore himself. Though opposed by Ahames, Giluke succeeds in kidnapping and performing a ceremony called the "Black Mass" to draw out the Rigel Aura from her body again. Once the Aura is reawakened, Giluke absorbs it to become the powerful Super Giluke.
As the Earth invasion continues to prove unsuccessful, Giluke is permitted by Bazoo to use any means necessary to win, including turning his own men into Space Beasts. The first candidate Giluke selects is his own former lieutenant Adjutant Booba, only for Booba to resist being turned into a Space Beast and rebel. After Booba is rescued by his former companion Lady Pirate Jill, Giluke boards their ship and kills her so a furious Booba attempts to duel Giluke, but Bazeu interrupts the fight and sends both back to the Gozmard, allowing Booba to stay untransformed into a Space Beast Warrior.
With Bazeu's permission, Super Giluke transforms Adjutant Shiima into a Space Beast Warrior but the Gozma's invasion efforts are complicated with the defections of Navigator Gator, Shiima and Booba, the latter of whom dies to free Shiima from Bazeu's influence. With few forces remaining in Gozma, Giluke combines his powers with Bazeu to transform Ahames into the Space Beast Maze before sending her to destroy the Dengeki Sentai's base.

After Ahames' death, Giluke is instructed by Bazeu to pilot the Mothership Gozmard into Earth and use it to attack everything and wipe out all life on Earth. He seemingly defeats the Changemen and toasts on Gozmard to celebrate, only to be ambushed by Change Dragon and stabbed through his chest. This does little to slow Super Giluke down as he is soon able to overpower ChangeRed, only for Nana to shield him from being finished off. Facing the Changemen once more, an injured Super Giluke transforms himself into the Space Beast Girath to make a final attempt to defeat the Changemen. However, despite his immense strength, he still has a weak spot in the wound in his chest, which the Changeman exploit to weaken him before destroying him with the Power Bazooka. Due to his instinctive need to rebuild everything after destruction, Gyodai enlarges Girath into a mindless Space Beast Warrior which is then killed by Change Robo's Super Thunderbolt.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Power: General Giluke was the second most powerful member of the Gozma besides Star King Bazeu, being much stronger than his subordinates and defeating the Changemen on several occasions.
- Durability: Giluke survived being blasted by Bazeu, thrown into a black hole and being shot by the Power Bazooka without a scratch.
- Space Survivability: Giluke was thrown into a black hole but did not suffer the effects of space.
- Skilled Swordsman: Giluke was a very skilled swordsman, being able to fight and defeat all five Changemen in battle.
- Lightning Rain: As seen when he revealed himself to Yuuma, Giluke could make blue lightning rain down on his enemies to cause large explosions.
Arsenal[]
- Twin Swords: General Giluke's two main weapons in battle were two large identical swords. According to him, they were forged from the heart of his homeworld Planet Girath.

- Ironically, Shouhei Yamamoto was the real life father of Tokie Shibata who played Nana and was often the target of many of Giluke's later plans.
