Mr. Bang Bang is a minor antagonist in Paradise P.D., only appearing in the episode "Trigger Warnings". He is a faulty smart gun created by the NRA to help enforce gun control in Paradise. However, he deems innocent people and things threats and shoots at people who don't deserve it. Mr. Bang Bang was assigned to Kevin and did a horrible job protecting him from threats.
Upon hearing about how horrible guns can be, Mr. Bang Bang had an epiphany and decided to turn his life around and become an anti-gun gun, who would convince other smart guns to follow in his footsteps and become non-violent weapons of peace.
He was voiced by Dana Snyder.
Biography[]
In "Trigger Warnings", Chip Fuckyeah of the NRA introduced Smart Guns to the world, as a brand new line of firearms that would help make Paradise a safer place, when it comes to gun violence. One of these guns was a cheerful little character named Mr. Bang Bang, who swore to protect his owner from any gun violence. Kevin immediately hated Mr. Bang Bang right from the start but Mr. Bang Bang refused to leave his side and continued to protect him no matter what the cause. Mr. Bang Bang would get in the way of everything, doing heinous things such as shooting The Hamburglar when Kevin was just trying to get his autograph and almost shooting his penis off, when staring at him peeing in the toilet. It was clear Mr. Bang Bang was driving Kevin crazy but he just wouldn't back off. Mr. Bang Bang was clearly a bad weapon to have around, as seen by his immediate ire toward Gerald Fitzgerald. Due to him being programmed by Chip Fuckyeah, Mr. Bang Bang was born with internalized racism toward African-American people.
Things went south for Mr. Bang Bang, when he was pestering Kevin back at his apartment complex. There, Kevin was visited by a pair of Jehovah's Witness members, who asked him to convert to their religion. Kevin turned them down on account of being Jewish but then, a smart gun belonging to the Jehovah's Witnesses came in and threatened to kill Kevin if he didn't convert. The gun shot Kevin's hair off before Kevin kicked him out and Mr. Bang Bang witnessed the whole thing. Mr. Bang Bang was puzzled, not knowing how a gun of all things could commit such an act of violence. Mr. Bang Bang's philosophy on life was that everything the NRA taught him was gospel but Kevin blew his tiny mind when he told him that the NRA was lying. Kevin educated Mr. Bang Bang in gun violence, when he showed him a bunch of news articles about instances of school shootings, armed robberies, and murders that all involved guns. This turned Mr. Bang Bang's whole world upside down and gave him a new outlook on life.
Mr. Bang Bang went up to a podium and made an announcement to all of the other smart guns in the area, declaring that he was giving up his violent ways as a smart gun, ditching his ammo, and pursuing a life of pacifism. This convinced all of the smart guns listening to do the same. Kevin was so proud of Mr. Bang Bang for changing for the better and told him that if he gets the word out about gun control, soon, he can convince the whole world to stop being so violent with firearms. However, Randall Crawford heard about this situation and when his smart gun, Jean-Claude Van Blamme ditched his ammo and stopped being violent, he was enraged and alerted the NRA about the smart guns going rogue and turning on them.
Kevin rounded up all of the smart guns, including Mr. Bang Bang to go to the Paradise Airport, so they could start a world tour on convincing people to embrace gun control. However, the NRA was on their tails, using their confiscated regular guns to shoot them. Before Mr. Bang Bang could go out and make a difference in the world, he, and all of the other smart guns were shot dead by Chip Fuckyeah in the mass genocide and ultimate extinction of his species and so, this was the end of the tragic story of Mr. Bang Bang.
