Darkos is the secondary antagonist in the Arthur and the Invisibles franchise, which is based on the 2002 French book Arthur and the Minimoys by Luc Besson. He is the second-in-command of Necropolis and the estranged son of Maltazard.
He was voiced by Jason Bateman in the first film (who also portrayed Simon Callum in The Gift, Trevor Olson in Central Intelligence and Marty Byrde in Ozark), and Iggy Pop (who also portrayed The Demon and Mok Swagger's singing voice in Rock & Rule, Curve in The Crow: City of Angels and the Caterpillar in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) in the third film.
Biography[]
Darkos first appears at Max's bar when Arthur, Selenia and Betameche stops over. He then summons dozens of Seides to him and tries to capture the trio, but fails in doing so. He later catches Arthur and Betameche discussing about Arthur's marriange.
Later when Arthur destroys Necropolis using his new ball, Maltazard, abandons Darkos, leaving him to drown. What happens next is unknown, but it is certain that Darkos somehow survived the flood.
Appearance[]
Darkos is a warrior, and as such he has a warrior's body: he is thin, tall, and agile looking, with long arms and legs. In battle he wears well-made, brown armor with spikes on the shoulder pads, and a helmet that covers his skull and has a crest of blades. A kind of shabby cape hangs from his shoulders.
