Dr. Kane (often shorted simply to Kane) is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Lucifer) of the controversial underground web-comic series Jack.

Kane is deeply hateful, and despite being the Sin of Envy, he shows a number of traits associated with all the major sins, such as extreme pride (seeking to become a new God and destroy the current Creation to make a new one in his image), extreme wrath (seeking to inflict as much pain as possible on all things, utterly rejecting a Creator who would of allowed the genocide of humanity by a "lesser" creature such as Jack), and of course, a deep and unending envy of everything and everyone.

- Kane and Drip are considered by far the most evil and powerful enemies in the Jack universe, with the exception of Lucifer himself, Kane is the most "devoted" Sin and has the most apocalyptic goals out of all of them.
- Kane and Jack are among the eldest of the Sins, both originating from the pre-human genocide world, thousands of years before the rise of beings such as Drip (though still younger than Lucifer, who predates the Big Bang).
