This is my Albion. Its cities will bow to my law... or they will burn. Its mountains will bend to my will.. .or they will fall. This is my Albion; its people will do as I say... or they will die. Its future will be as I decree, or it will end. I've seen what must be done and nothing will stand in my way. We will be greater and we will be stronger. No matter what sacrifices we must make. This is my Albion, and I will see it destroyed before I surrender it.
~ Logan

Logan is the main antagonist for the first half of Fable III. He is also the son of Sparrow, the older brother of the Hero of Brightwall and the former king of Albion.

He was voiced by Michael Fassbender, who also played Magneto in the X-Men film series, Edwin Epps in 12 Years a Slave, Azazeal in Hex, and the Allen Brothers in Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking.

Biography[]

Fable III[]

Logan is the king of Albion, whose unfair policies have resulted in a number of negative effects upon Bowerstone and other areas, chief among them poverty; it is his actions that have inspired the formation of the Bowerstone Resistance.

Early in the game, Logan orders for a mob of protestors gathered outside Bowerstone Castle to be shot by his guards. The Hero of Brightwall and his/her love interest, Elise/Elliot, witness Logan dismissing Walter Beck's opposition to his orders and having his guards restrain Walter. The Hero then confronts Logan, who then forces him/her to choose between sparing Elise/Elliot and having the protestors executed or sparing the protestors and having Elise/Elliot executed. After the choice is made, the Hero declares he/she will never forgive Logan for his actions, to which Logan replies that's good because he will never forget it. He then has the Hero taken away to his/her room.

Much later in the game, after the Hero succeeds in gaining a large group of followers and leads them in a revolt against Logan's forces, Logan surrenders without a fight after being confronted by his sibling, and the player is then given the choice to either have Logan executed for his crimes or to spare his life.

It is revealed that the reason for Logan's tyranny is for him to build an army strong enough to defend the kingdom against the Crawler and his minion who threaten to slaughter every single living being in the kingdom. Logan is spared by the hero; since his brother realizes that all he did was for the greater good after all.

Quotes[]

Never tell me what I can't do.
~ Logan to Walter after he tries to stop him from having protesters executed.
If you can't choose, I will. They will all be executed. So tell me, what are you willing to sacrifice to do the right thing?
~ Logan to the Hero of Brightwall, forcing him/her to make a difficult choice.
Good. Then you will never forget it.
~ Logan to the Hero of Brightwall, after he/she makes the choice.

Trivia[]

  • Logan is the eldest son of Sparrow.
  • The reason why Logan never told his subjects about the Crawler threat and the necessity to build a strong army is because no one would believe him.
  • As confirmed in Fable: Edge of the World; Logan was spared by his younger brother, the Hero of Brightwall, since the hero realizes that all Logan did was for the greater good after all.
