Mickey Donovan is the main antagonist of TV show Ray Donovan.
He is played by Jon Voight, who also portrayed Mr. Sir in Holes, Thomas Reynolds in Enemy of the State, Paul Serone in Anaconda, and Jim Phelps in Mission: Impossible.
Early life[]
Raised in Boston, Mickey married a woman named Mary and they had four kids together: Ray, Terry, Bridget & Bunchy. He then had an affair with a black woman named Claudette, who gets pregnant with Mickey's fifth child, Daryll. Mickey was also abusive and neglectful to his kids, which led to Ray's hatred towards him. Ray also blamed the old man for the death of his sister, who fell off a building while on drugs. Mickey also fucked one of Ray's deceased exes. When the boys were little, a priest named Danny O'Connor sexually abused them. When Mickey found out, he sets out to kill Danny. But he ends up killing Danny's brother, Michael. This leads to Bunchy's alcoholic life, while Danny disappeared from Boston. Eventually, Mickey ends up in Walpole for 20 years.
