The Mummy Servants are slaves of Sutekh and main villains in "Retro–Puppetmaster".
Abilities
The mummies have many special magic powers, the leader can summon a green ball of energy that he eats and regains his full strength, they can also put people to sleep, sense people, send people nightmare messages and drain victim's energy.
History
After the wizard, Afzel stole the secret of life. Sutekh resurrected Mummy Servants to head for Paris, France to find him. When they arrived in Paris, they wore disguises so nobody would know that they are members of the undead, they hid in a secret lair in the Paris Catacombs and paid two thugs to murder Afzel for them, when the thugs failed to carry out the plan, the mummies killed them.
Afzel introduce himself to André Toulon, bought Toulon's puppet to life and made a symbol that protects him from the mummies, which is nailed to a wall. After that, Afzel gave the secret of life to him. The next day, after the sign the puppets made fell off the wall for some reason, the three mummies entered Toulon's theater and killed all of his fellow puppeteers. André Toulon then bought his friends back to life as the retro puppets.
Retro–Blade carved a scar in shape of a special protection sign on Toulon left arm, this symbol protects him from the mummies. When he and the puppets were about to pack up and leave town, the three mummies came back after they sense of power Afzel stole. They try to kill Toulon, but the puppets appeared out of nowhere and attacked them. They knocked the puppets off of them and went after Toulon. Retro–Six–Shooter shot a chandelier down onto them, knocked two of them and killed one of them. After Toulon and the puppets left, Sutekh revived two of his slaves and gave them a special power for them to use against Toulon.
As the mummies continue to go after Toulon, one of them spotted a letter from Elsa with her address on it. That gave them a plan to capture Toulon. They break into the Swiss Embassy and kill all of the workers, Elsa's parents and kidnap her. The lead gave Toulon a dream to let him know that Elsa is with them on the train. When he woke up he went on the train to save her. As André Toulon found them, he and the puppets fight them to the death and rescued Elsa. After the battle, the group rides away in the train, beginning their long amazing adventure.
Trivia
- The main mummy was suppose to transform into an Anubis type monster but it was cut for budget reasons.
- The effects team on the movie were told that the mummies were cut from the movie, but were re-added at the last minute so they had to go shopping in Bucharest fast and buy rolls of gauze bandages and then get back to the studio and prepare the mummies in just 3 hours.
