Yugoloths, also known as Daemons, are a hostile race of Fiends from the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing multiverse. They are normally designed for high-level adventurers but come in many different forms and levels, some of which are near-godlike in threat while, in contrast, the weakest Yugoloths are capable of being defeated by mid-to-low tier mortal adventurers.

Biography[]

Yugoloths are Neutral Evil Fiends who manipulate the never-ending wars between the Lawful Evil devils and Chaotic Evil demons, as well as the wars and conflicts of other races, they are not concerned with the destruction or over-all conquest of the multiverse so much as personal gain and thus see all things as capable of being exploited.

Yugoloths tend to be both calculating and opportunistic by nature, always ready to snatch up a chance to gain power or influence for itself while also being willing to hire itself out to those that seek its "aid". Often Yugoloths will earn a living as mercenaries, assassins or spies for any who gives them what they desire.

Due to this strong desire for manipulation and self-centered "trade" Yugoloths often act as traders with Night Hag, who have the unique ability to elevate Yugoloths into even more powerful beings known as Altraloths.

Species[]

  • Arcanaloth: Humanoid jacakal-headed fiends that are fiercly intelligent. They are powerful spellcasters who collect knowledge in return for doing favors for whoever can afford them.
  • Canoloth: Quadrepedal animalistic fiends that act as guard animals for which ever higher ranking yugoloth they serve. They are blind, so they track things with their extensive tongues.

  • Oinoloth: These rotting yugoloths are chiefs of disease and illnesses. They are a truely disgusting sight to behold. Their skin sprouts with tumorous spots.
  • Ultroloth: A common ruler species of yugoloths as a whole. They are notoriously cruel, greedy, and are excellent at plotting. They can cast spells and hypnotize their victems with their bulbous eyes. It is said that there is one ultroloth who's name is unknown and cannot be found unless he wants to be.
  • Yagnoloth: Another exceptionally strange creature that was deadly in many methods. They always had one arm that was bigger than the other. While their big arms dealt heavy blows, their smaller arms dealt deadly electric shocks. They were selfish fiends who abused their powers. They were also exceptionally lazy compared to other yugoloths.
