Scorpia is a major character in the 2018 Netflix original series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. She is a Force Captain in The Horde, and is Catra's loyal sidekick and considers her best friend. But later near the end of the fourth season, Scorpia left the Horde and joined the Rebellion, along with Princess Alliance. She is actually a princess who is connected with the Black Garnet Runestone, which gives her electric elemental powers as a result.

She is voiced by Lauren Ash.

Appearance

Scorpia has many of the physiological features of scorpions including a large stinger and pincers instead of hands. She has white hair which she wears with an undercut. Scorpia is mostly seen wearing a Horde uniform with a Force Captain badge. After joining the Rebellion, she discards the Force Captain Badge.

Personality

Scorpia is a very kind, naive, and loving Force Captain, barely showing a hint of true malice or sadism compared to the others, despite being in the Horde. When in battle, her incompetence and her innocent nature can hinder her progress, but she makes up for it with her determination and dedication to the Horde. She is not very serious or competent but does get the job done. However, Scorpia is not stupid. She was the one who suggested the attack on Princess Prom and carry it out. Scorpia is very protective of those she considers her friends (especially Catra) and even after she left Horde Prime, Scorpia still loved Catra and begged Glimmer not to hurt Catra, believing Catra was lost, rather than truly evil. 

She has described herself as a "hugger" and loves to make friends. Making friends as well as protecting her friends seems to be her main motivation. Unfortunately, she has little sense of personal space, often giving hugs at inappropriate times.

Biography

Past

Scorpia was a princess who was raised by her moms, she also mentions a grandfather she looked up to. She told Catra, "The Horde crash-landed in my family's backyard..." meaning that Scorpia's family is from the Fright Zone. Her family later made an agreement with the Horde, and their runestone, the Black Garnet, which was given to Shadow Weaver.
