Thunder Karlsson and Bloom are the secondary antagonists of Warner Bros Animation's 1997 film Pippi Longstocking and the main antagonists of the TV series.
Thunder Karlsson was voiced by Canadian-American actor Dave Thomas (who also played Sam Sleaze in the 1985 Sesame Street film Follow That Bird) in the film. In the TV series, he was voiced by the late Len Carlson. In both the movie and the TV series, Bloom was voiced by the late Canadian actor Wayne Robson.

Thunder Karlsson and Bloom first appeared when they are in prison where they started singing "Bowler Hat and Golden Tooth" about what they would do if they have it, after finishing the first half, they overheard Mrs. Prysselius telling the officers about a little girl named Pippi Longstocking. after overhearing this, The duo then sang the second and final verse of the song explaining a plan on how to get Pippi Longstocking.
