Finny also known as Auntie Finny was a female Snowy Owl who served as a supporting antagonist in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole books.
Guardians of Ga'Hoole[]
"The Capture"[]
After being captured and taken to St Aegolius Acadamy for Orphaned Owls (or St. Aggie's for short), a young Barn Owl named Soren was placed in Finny's pit alongside several other owlets. Finny gave the owlets numbers to be their new identities and gave Soren the number 12-1. Finny acted kindly to Soren such as giving him extra food and allowing him to ask questions (something St Aggie's was against).
Finny later tended to Soren after his feathers were plucked during laughter therapy (a punishment for asking questions).
However, this kind attitude was revealed to be a facade as later in the book, Finny, alongside St. Aggie's Albah General Skench, Spoorn and Jatt & Jutt, caught an owl named Hortense taking eggs with the aid of a pair of bald eagles named Zan and Streak. A fight broke, which resulted in Finny throwing Hortense off a cliff. During the fight, Finny gained a scar, which caused her white feathers to turn dark. Unbeknownst to Finny, Hortense survived the fall.

Trivia[]
- For reasons unknown, Finny does not appear in the books' film adaptation Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.
