Fire Cage is a minor antagonist from Mortal Kombat 1. Fire Cage is an amalgamation of Liu Kang and Johnny Cage from an alternative timeline. He fights in Titan Shang Tsung'sOrder of Darkness against Fire God Liu Kang's Union of Light.
Fire Cage seems to be an evil version of Liu Kang who shares Johnny Cage's career as a movie star.
In Mortal Kombat 1's final chapter, Armageddon, he is a potential enemy to the selectable Final Warrior. He confronts the Final Warrior in a one round fight, and once beaten, he is left on the ground, presumably dead.
