Biography[]
FitzPatrick is a sea star who hails from Ireland. He is the supposedly long-lost cousin of Patrick Star. After arriving in Bikini Bottom and crashing a live filming of Patrick's show, FitzPatrick tells Patrick his plan of stealing his life in a rather casual way, as though he believes the point of his very existence is to ruin the lives of anyone that looks like him. Unfortunately for FitzPatrick, though, Patrick pays no heed to Fitzpatrick's intentions and is only interested in having fun in the town with his cousin.
The two sea stars go to the Goofy Gobber's Ice Cream Party Boat, where FitzPatrick impersonates Patrick and spills ice cream all over the animatronic band, causing them to malfunction and sing an intense rock song along with FitzPatrick as he continues pretending to be Patrick and makes a mess of the restaurant, scaring all the customers away in the process. Patrick is promptly banned from the premises and forcibly removed by an employee. However, much to FitzPatrick's chagrin, Patrick is unfazed as he reveals that he gets banned from the restaurant all the time and just comes back later. Noticing FitzPatrick's disappointment, Patrick decides to take Fitzpatrick to his favorite comic book shop to try and cheer him up.
At the comic book shop, FitzPatrick once again steals Patrick's identity and begins trashing the place with a baseball bat while Patrick is distracted reading a comic book. Patrick is soon banned from the shop after Fitzpatrick is finished with his rampage, but Patrick is still unbothered by his cousin's scheme as he points out that there are plenty of other comic book shops he can visit. But before the two of them can enter any of them, Patrick gets a call from Squidina informing him that it's time to host the Patrick Show, so Patrick hails a taxi to bring him and FitzPatrick back home.
As Patrick explains how he has his own talk show with millions of viewers, FitzPatrick realizes that this is the perfect opportunity to ruin Patrick's reputation once and for all, and begins scheming to hijack the show. As Patrick looks for a costume to put on for the show, FitzPatrick tricks Patrick into entering a time machine in the dressing room and uses it to send him really far back in time. With Patrick out of the way, FitzPatrick seamlessly assumes his cousin's identity and begins harassing the audience with mean jokes and cruel pranks that leave them injured. He tries to give the audience a "grand finale" by using a harpoon to pull the cork out of a giant cargo ship so it would fall and land on the audience members, but before he can go through with it, Patrick returns with an army of other Patricks from countless other timelines, resulting in FitzPatrick getting swept away by the crowd and dragged into the time machine while Patrick takes his place on the stage and resumes hosting his show.
Meanwhile, FitzPatrick gets sent back to medieval times where he encounters Pat the Hapless, a barbarian variant of Patrick. Noticing that the two of them look similar, FitzPatrick introduces himself to Pat the Hapless and announces his plan to ruin Pat's life by stealing his identity just as he'd tried to do with Patrick. Pat the Hapless is unamused, and he uses a magic wand he'd gotten from Beezlebass, a medieval version of Bubble Bass, to turn FitzPatrick into a sea urchin. Seemingly not caring about this new predicament, FitzPatrick immediately spots Beezlebass, who had also been turned into a sea urchin earlier, and decides to set out to steal his identity instead.
