Chad, better known by his alias Flambae is a major character who appears in the 2025 game, Dispatch.

He is a former supervillain from Afghanistan who was a long time criminal and serial arsonist before being arrested and put into th Phoenix Program to redeem himself.

He is portrayed by Fahim Anwar/Lance Cantstopolis.

Appearance

According to his SDN's database, Flambae stands at roughly 6'4" with muscular build. He has decent-length brown hair, being tied into a ponytail. Additionally, he has a strand of hair float on the right side and shaved beard.

Flambae wears a V-shaped black superhero suit with fire patterns that drives to his chest, arms and on his legs.

Depends on Robert's choice, Flambae can either lose a front teeth due to slipping and slamming his face into the counter if Robert throws water or loses his eyebrows if Robert throws alcohol. If the second option is chosen, Flambae will begin to wear a shade to cover the burnt eyebrows.

Personality

Flambae's most notable characteristic is his short temper. He often resolves in using violence as a solution due to his incompetence to think thoroughly before taking actions, as seen how he immediately willing to fight Robert inside the Crypto Night Bar.

Flambae is also noted by his pride, borderline egotistical and narcissistic behavior. His pride is hurt deeply when being mocked by Z-Team members for losing against Robert, he angrily defends himself and sets a nearby park on fire in anger. Additionally, when confronted for the mistakes he makes, Flambae is dismissive about his role in those problems, lying about starting a fire or refusing Robert's orders.

He is also a vain individual when it comes to appearance as he designed his own suit and always ask others how he looks. However, Flambae shows certain moments of petty pride, implying huge self-esteem issues.

His hatred for Mecha Man III or Robert is personal as Robert was the one to cut off his two fingers. If the player chose to reveal Robert's identity as Mecha Man, Flambae gets furious instantly and resolves in burning Robert before being stopped by Golem and either Malevola or Waterboy. Later, at the party, Flambae would show up to punch Robert, admitting that this would be a every now and then thing but Flambae shows genuine change as he is willing to forgive gradually.

Biography

Before joining Z-Team, Flambae was a notorious criminal and serial arsonist. At one point, he came into a confrontation with Robert as Mecha Man. In that battle, he lost two fingers on his right hand and was defeated, possibly being detained not long after.

After being detained, he was forced to participate in Phoenix Program to reform himself and possibly avoid more jail time.

Powers and Abilities

Pyrokinesis: Flambae is a pyromancer who has the ability to generate and control fire he creates at a mastery level.

Flight: When Flambae sets his entire body on fire, he gains the ability to fly at high speed.

Moderated Level Fire Resistance: Being a pyromancer, Flambae has certain immunity to fire. However, this immunity only applies to his skin as his hair and eyebrows still can catch on fire easily if met with alcohol, resulting in Flambae losing his eyebrows if Robert chooses to throw alcohol at him.

• Flambae is a direct homepage to Human Torch, a member of the iconic Fantastic Four of Marvel Comics with similar powers and personality.
