Flap-Jack, real names Lester Turvey and Chester Turvey, are an enemy character in the arcade game CarnEvil. Though an enemy character whose character model appears multiple times in the Freakshow level, Flap Jack is given a background and history unlike most other enemy characters. He is also given a special introduction in the level.
Biography[]
Lester and Chester Turvy were two talented acrobatic twins in a small traveling circus. One day the two were discovered by Ludwig von Tökkentäkker, owner of CarnEvil. Tökkentäkker promised the two acrobat siblings that if they joined his circus, they'd receive top billing and be his star attraction. Eager to see their talents recognized, the Turvey twins took the offer.
However Tökkentäkker had tricked them, surgically altering the twins by removing their lower halves and joining their two at their waists, with both twins being given lobotomies. Only then did Tökkentäkker make them the star of his freak show as "Flap Jack the Amazing Flip Flop Man."
When the protagonist(or protagonists) revived CarnEvil, Flap-Jack appeared behind a special curtain at the Freak Show. The curtain depicted an illustration of Flap Jack: one half of him was presenting flowers to a terrified girl, whilst the other half of him held a knife behind his back. When the curtain opened, Flap-Jack was seen advancing menacingly at a girl with a club, whilst muttering "Purdy girl."
Regardless of whether or not, the player/s rescue the girl, copies of Flap jack attack the player throughout the Freak Show level, with the last one appearing at the see-saw and sending the player flying upwards when he jumped on the opposite end.
Appearance[]
Flap Jack is a mutant made out of two twins joined together at the waist, with one of the twins walking on his hands. Both halves of Flap Jack have yellow skin, a bald head and a dopey grin with a noticeable gap between their teeth.
Powers and Abilities[]
As their title implies, they frequently switch positions at will, with both twins being equally capable of assuming the other's position. The two are capable of taking graceful acrobatic leaps and landing gracefully. Flap Jack attacks with clubs which they can throw like a baton or with elegant punches.
Personality[]
Due to both twins receiving a lobotomy, Flap Jack has an eternally cheerful attitude even when being shot to death, Flap Jack is capable of laughing cheerfully about it's demise. Like nearly every resident of Carnevil, Flap Jack is homicidal and eager to kill guests for Tökkentäkker, doing so with a goofy smile on its face.
