| ~ Donald Ferguson and Cecil Stedman discussing Flaxan Mark's defeat and their chances of winning the Invincible War. |
Markus Sebastian "Mark" Grayson, also known as Invincible or "Flaxan Mark", is a minor antagonist in the Image Comics comic series Invincible and its animated adaptation of the same name.
Like the other Alternate Invincibes, Flaxan Mark was originally a superhero, but later turned into a supervillain. He was approached by Angstrom Levy, and joined him in going to the main Invincible’s world, and destroy everything in his path.
He was voiced by Steven Yeun, who also played all the other Alternate Mark Graysons, A. Traveler in The Twilight Zone, Ricky "Jupe" Park in Nope and Danny Cho in Beef.
Biography[]
Background[]
Like most of the other Alternate Mark Graysons, his past is fairly enigmatic, but assumptions can be made about him based on his Flaxan armour. It is implied that he went to the Flaxan world instead of his father, and likely wiped them out or became their ruler. Due to his murderous motivations, it is more likely that he killed them all.
Invincible War[]
Angstrom Levy recruited Flaxan Mark to fight alongside the other variants of Mark, and he is seen among the others in his introduction. Upon entering the main Mark's world, he targeted the Pentagon, and tried to destroy the GDA. However, he was eventually killed by the ReAnimen, and Donald noted that this variant of Mark seemed to be much weaker than main Mark. In the comics, he was killed by both Brit and Donald; Brit remarking that he hopes to not do it again. Noticeably, Brit’s turtleneck is ripped, Donald’s android form is shown, and Cecil is injured.
Legacy[]
Flaxan Mark's body would be turned into another ReAniman for the GDA's army.
