The flesh moths are supporting antagonists in the Doctor Who episode "It Takes You Away". They are a species of aliens that appear to be similar to moths, but are larger and capable of stripping flesh to the bone.
The flesh moths live in anti-zones, pocket universes generated whenever the fabric of space/time is threatened. They travel in swarms and attack any living things they encounter before stripping away and consuming their flesh. When a single flesh moth locates prey, it can then emit a deafening blast of sound to summon the rest of its swarm. They also use echolocation to locate their prey, meaning that those who stand perfectly still can avoid being attacked.
The Thirteenth Doctor, Graham O'Brien and Yasmin Khan encounter a swarm of them in one of the anti-zones. Ribbons is able to distract them with a piece of meat, but they eventually locate him and they eat him alive after he attacks the Doctor.
Ryan Sinclair later attracts more after entering the anti-zone after finding a lantern, but narrowly avoids them.
