Fletcher Moss is one of the antagonists of The Mentalist TV-show. He is the drug dealer and MMA trainer. He was played by Max Martini.
Biography[]
The story begins with a guy named Andy Huff being found murdered at a drug yard. Steve Rigsby, the father of police officer Wayne Rigsby, was also found wounded there. Steve's condition is stabilized, but a piece of shotgun pellets is lodged in his heart. If it falls out, Steve will die. That's why the doctors forbid him from drinking alcohol. Steve doesn't want to name the killer and even escapes from the hospital. Wayne finds him at a bar. Steve says it's related to local drug dealers, but at that moment he dies. The same piece of shotgun pellets falls out. Wayne swears revenge. Patrick and Teresa Lisbon, meanwhile, learn that there are two criminal gangs in the city. They used to fight, but now they've come to an agreement. Andy Huff was the nephew of the leader of one of the gangs, named Sue. Also, someone told Sue that her nephew was killed by another gang. The leader of another gang, Beltran, was laying claim to a park because he was told it was unowned (it turned out to be controlled by Sue's gang). Patrick Jane decides to bring Sue and Beltran together on neutral ground. There is also a neutral person there, a local trainer named Fletcher Moss. Patrick tells Sue and Beltran that someone gave them false information to pit their gangs against each other, and whoever did it killed Steve and Andy. Sue and Beltran point to Fletcher Moss. He was the one who told Sue that Beltran's people killed her nephew, and he was the one who told Beltran that the park (which turned out to be controlled by Sue's people) was unowned. So he was the one who killed Steve and Andy. He wanted to pit the two gangs against each other so that his gang could take over the city. Fletcher tries to escape and gets into a fierce shootout with Wayne Rigsby, who arrives in time. Wayne wounds Fletcher, but he still tries to threaten him with a gun. Wayne kills Fletcher.
