~ Flighty Fairy |
The Flighty Fairy is a supporting antagonist in the two-part The Backyardigans special, "Tale of the Mighty Knights", and a protagonist in the series finale, "The Tale of the Not-So-Nice Dragon". She is played by Tasha.
Biography[]
Tale of the Mighty Knights[]
Knights Uniqua and Tyrone and the Grabbing Goblin followed King Pablo's runaway egg down a forest path after leaving the Goblin's cave, and find the egg in the captivity of the Flighty Fairy, who uses spells to try and keep the three of them from getting the egg, which she nicknamed "Eggy", back. It cracks some more and two wings pop out, and it flies to Dragon Mountain, an active volcano. The Fairy joins them, and they go inside Dragon Mountain to find the egg. However, they just find a dragon, which playfully chases them, ultimately off a cliff. It catches them, and they find out that the egg was a dragon egg. They return to the king, who has just returned from his shopping trip, who says that the dragon's name is Dragon.
The Tale of the Not-So-Nice Dragon[]
Grabbing Goblin and Flighty Fairy reappear in The Tale of the Not-So-Nice Dragon. They have been invited to King Pablo's castle for tea, and upon arriving, they discover another, red dragon there. It snatches up King Pablo and Knights Uniqua and Tyrone and takes them to its cave. Goblin and Fairy don't want to have to rescue them, as they don't think they can, as they're not knights. However, with the assistance of Dragon, they manage to break their friends out of the cave and turn the Not-So-Nice Dragon into a nice dragon. They all enjoy their tea party back at King Pablo's castle.
