Florence Samuels is the main antagonist of Case #55 of Criminal Case: Mysteries of the Past. She's the Courthouse clerk of Capitol Peak and the killer of Judge Satoshi Takakura.

Biography

Florence became a suspect when Madeline and the player find out that she worked with the victim. When told about the murder she said it was strange that she had seen him that morning working, she said he was a wise man with a great legal mind. She said she'll have to work with another judge but they wouldn't be as great as Takakura.

She was spoken to again when the player and Madeline found out Florence had a fight with both the Victim and his friend, Yuri Ishidia. She revealed that she lied to them and that Takakura was a nightmare to work with as he was a grumpy and un-wise man. She said he was never satisfied with everything that Florence did. She said that she took pride into her work and Takakura just put stress onto her.

Then, Florence was revealed to be Takakura's killer. She waited until he came home and she ambushed him, she then smashed his head over and over and over until he was dead. She said he was disrespectful towards Justin Lawson, she tried to get Takakura locked up even if he was innocent but the Justice Corps let him go since he did nothing wrong. When Justin Lawson hears this, she's sentenced to death by beheading at town square.

In the addition investigation the team said that even if she did kill Takakura, she shouldn't die as well. The player and Rose disguised themselves as Justice Corps officers and helps Florence escape death. The team sent her to Australia for manual labour, the judge in Australia sent her to work ten years there until they can get a prison cell for her.
