Fognose is a supporting antagonist in the A Starless Clan arc of the Warriors series.
She is the sister of Splashtail and former warrior of RiverClan, who supported her brother all throughout his leadership, genuinely believing he wants what's best for the Clan, despite him being bloodthirsty and power-hungry. She even went as far as to try kidnapping kits from other Clans for him, and when she continued to defend him after his death, she was banished from her Clan.

Fognose is a gray-and-white she-cat with thick, glossy fur.
Biography[]
Past[]
Fogkit was born to Havenpelt and Sneezecloud alongside Splashkit. Once reaching six moons old, she became a warrior apprentice named Fogpaw, and her mentor was Lizardtail. Eventually she and her brother became warriors, earning the names Fognose and Splashtail.
A Starless Clan[]
River[]
One day, Fognose goes on a patrol with Splashtail, Curlfeather, Podlight and the RiverClan deputy Reedwhisker. However, when they return to camp, they report that Reedwhisker has gone missing, and the deputy is later found dead. Due to this being a plot to kill him between Curlfeather and Splashtail though, and with Podlight later becoming Splashtail's biggest supporter, it's possible that Fognose was in on the plan as well.
Sky[]
When RiverClan's medicine cat apprentice Frostpaw chooses Owlnose to be the new leader after Curlfeather's death, Fognose supports the decision despite many of her Clanmates questioning it. When Owlnose isn't granted nine lives from StarClan however, she wonders if RiverClan's warrior ancestors have abandoned them, and points out how one of ShadowClan's leaders, Nightstar, was denied by StarClan as well many moons ago.
Star[]
While the ThunderClan warrior Nightheart helps Mothwing and Duskfur escape from RiverClan, he spots Fognose and Sneezecloud fleeing from SkyClan with Ridgekit and Duskkit in tow. He stops them and offers to be taken prisoner in return for the kidnapped kits being returned, which they agree to, bringing him to RiverClan camp. He tries and fails to escape, after which they imprison him in the nursery with Mosspelt, Havenpelt, and the latter's three young kits. Nightheart tries to reason with Fognose and make her see how much damage her brother is doing, pointing out how his constant battle training is leaving the camp disheveled and without any food. He fails to convince her though, and Gorseclaw then brings him to Splashtail's den for talking to her. After Splashtail's death, Fognose and Breezeheart are banished from the Clan for continuing to support him.
Trivia[]
- Like her brother, she never appears during The Broken Code, Graystripe's Vow or Daisy's Kin, despite being in the allegiances for all of them.
