Villain Overview

~ Forester's catchphrase, just like from the song he is based on.
I don't have enemies among animals. So sometimes, I like feeding... wolves
~ Forester about his deeds, slightly revealing his true colors.
Forester: Friends want to eat.
Pot: Well, what's that got to do with me?
Forester: Let's go, buddy, to the forest.
~ Forester revealing his true colors to Pot.

Forester is the main antagonist in the second episode of the Russian TV series King and Jester, based on the Russian punk-rock band of the same name. Just like his counterpart from the song, he is an elderly outcast, who lives in the forest, calls lost travellers in his house, friendly "letting them spend a night", but actually feeds them to wolves.

He was portrayed by Kirill Poluhin.

Biography[]

After falling out with Prince (the fantasy counterpart of Andrei Kniazev), Pot (the fantasy counterpart of Mikhail Gorshenyov) get lost in the forest and finds a lonely house. After he knocks the door, Forester greets him and asks him to go in as he "won't refuse anything".

During their dinner, Pot finds out, that Forester has no enemies among animals, likes to feed wolves and also makes various decorations of human bones. But when it goes dark, Forester walks out of the house and returns with a gun, forcing Pot to go with him.

As he is revealed with a wish to feed Pot to wolves, he ties him and falsely accuses him for spreading a shame in the kingdom. But when Forester goes home "to get tighter ropes", Prince appears with a blade and a bag (with a headless warrior's head) only to be noticed by old man. As Forester orders Prince to throw a blade away and throw a bag to him, Prince obeys him. But it was a fatal mistake for Forester, as head bites four of his fingers off (when he put a hand on the bag). Forester, continues screaming in pain as he furiously kicks the head away and tries to shoot both for the last time saying that "wolves have to chew them more carefully". But he fails again as headless warrior comes with a hive full of bees, grabbing him by the head and releasing bees. Forester tries to break out with a blade, which results only in cracking the hive and infuriating bees. Soon warrior lifts Forester up, eventually ripping his head off, and taking it with him.

Pot: Ah, a bear?
~ Forester and Pot about chair with human bones
Pot: I didn't defeat the Sorcerer. I didn't save the princess. I was looking for immortality, but found death.
Forester: The sorcerer is very cunning before torture. Maybe you're lucky I got you. At least you'll die a man.
Pot: I'm going to be food for wolves?
Forester: Yes, I'm like worms to the wolves. It's better for wolves. You won't ruin the land.
Pot: Really?
Forester: Yeah.
Pot: Somehow I doubt it.
Forester: I'll go get another rope, you're too big. (cackles and walks away)
~ Forester tying Pot up to feed him to wolves.
GUYS, HERE IS THE SECOND ONE!
