EyesOfMyMother

Francisca is the villainous protagonist of the 2016 psychological horror film known as The Eyes of My Mother.

She was portrayed by Kika Magalhães and Olivia Bond.

Biography[]

Francisca is a little girl living with her parents. One day, a man known as Charlie enters their house and kills Francisca's mother with a pistol. The father walks into the house and finds his dead wife and Francisca sitting on a chair. The father ties Charlie inside a barn, as Francisca explains to Charlie that she won't kill him and that she will take care of him.

Later, the father dies due to old age. Francisca gets extremely lonely and goes out of her way to untie Charlie and bring him inside the house, and the two supposedly sleep together. Charlie manages to escape the house, but Francisca finds him and stabs him to death.

After this, Francisca ends up meeting a mother and a baby boy in their car. Francisca manages to steal the baby boy from the mother, and Francisca stabs the mother and keeps her in the barn as a slave. Francisca presents herself as the mother of the boy, and the boy multiple times goes to the barn. Often being scared of the woman in the barn, asking Francisca who the woman is, and Francisca always tells the boy not to go inside.

Ultimately, the mother manages to escape the barn and gets rescued by a truck driver. The police get notified, and they enter Francisca's house. The movie ends with a shot being heard, supposedly Francisca being shot in the head for not cooperating with the law.

Theories[]

Francisca's "parents" may have kidnapped Francisca when she was little, which explains why her parents are very cold towards her and don't treat her as their actual daughter, which would completely explain Francisca's motive and desire to kidnap another boy, to keep the circle going.

The movie also may be inspired by the 2008 French movie Martyrs, due to both films having victims being kept in an isolation room, as well as the victims having their eyes shut, and both of the victims getting extremely low health care from the villains.
