Frank Bishop is a major villain in the Spawn comics.
He was a former CIA assassin and associate of Jessica Priest and Al Simmons before being killed by the former.
He was sent to hell for his crimes and was reborn as a demon. He is the archenemy of Jessica Priest.
History[]
Frank Bishop worked for the goverment for years serving alongside Jessica Priest and Al simmons.He was far more sadistic and cruel than his teammates. When sent on a mission with Al and Jessica Frank was sent to massacre inconnent civilains for his pleasure. This act put him into heads with Jessica and it gotten to the point where Jessica killed him out of disgust. Bishop was then sent to hell for his sins and at some point made a deal with a demon lord gaining power. Now back on earth Frank went on to plan his revenge against Priest for killing him and later by freeing Viscertor Violator's sister. He explains that how much time had passed and that Medeveil Spawn is now in the current times letting Viscetor go to after them while withholding some information like malebolgia dying. Later after Viscerator returns to Bishop angry at not being aware of Malebolgia's death, Bishop assures her that they will get vengeance on both Jessica Priest and Medeviel.
Later Bishop and Viscerator go in to lure The Scorched team which causes Jessica ro realize that Bishop had return and tried to go after him. But Bishop escapes with Vsiceator in fear of Al Simmons now Spawn apporching. After Nyx took over hell, Bishop decided to kill Charlotte Lin and had Viscerator transform into her to infiltrate The Agency led by Jason Wynn.
As the Scorched is overwhelmed by the Agency's overtkillers, Bishop Comes in as an agent and knocks jessica out. He laments that Wynn didn't want her dead but decided to see her suffer a worse fate than death from Wynn instead.
