Frank Chen attempts to use his connections to manipulate events in his favor, but he is ultimately outsmarted by the vigilante known as Arrow. When Frank Chen realizes that his bodyguard, Mr. Kim, is planning to betray him, he attempts to flee the city but is ultimately caught by Arrow.
In the final episode of Arrow Season 1, Frank Chen is brought to justice and taken into custody. However, his story does not end there. In later seasons, it is revealed that Frank Chen has a daughter, Mei, who becomes involved in a complex web of criminal activity and is eventually killed by the villainous Malcolm Merlyn.
