| ~ Frankie trying to get Tara to go to his bedroom. |
Frankie is a minor antagonist of Scream VI.
He is a rapist fraternity boy who attempted to take advantage of Tara Carpenter at the Omega Kappa Beta party. Chad Meeks-Martin intervened and got into a physical altercation which is ended when Samantha Carpenter arrived at the party and tased Frankie in the testicles. As Frankie hurled vulgar insults at Sam, other people in the party began to realise who she is, and started recording her. From the Reddit page about Sam and the news report later where it is made out as if she attacked a girl on the street, it can be assumed that these videos would be posted, making it look like Sam attacked Frankie without reason.
He is portrayed by Andre Anthony, who also portrayed Colin Worley in The Night Agent.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Frankie was born to unknown parents sometime in the 90s, in New York City. It can be assumed that due to his behaviour and beliefs, he likely grew up sheltered and was never taught to be more respectful.
Some point in the late 2010s, Frankie started studying at Blackmore University in New York, and joined the Omega Kappa Beta fraternity.
As he is a minor character in one scene, there is not much information that can be found.
New York College Murders[]
Frankie appeared in the party scene near the start of the movie. Tara was drunk and looked for more alcohol. Frankie saw this as an opportunity to begin a conversation with her about alcohol in the kitchen. He brought up the bottle of Fireball he has in his room, taking advantage of Tara's lowered inhibitions and reduced common sense. She agreed to go upstairs with him.
He was first noticed by Anika Kayoko, who was sitting on the couch with her girlfriend Mindy. Anika was quick to realise the situation and tried to get Tara to leave the party. Tara refused and insisted on going with Frankie. He tried to be charming and flirted with Anika, who promptly turns him down and went to find Chad and Ethan.
Chad came over to Frankie and tried to get him to leave Tara alone. She said that she wants to, and Frankie repeated the phrase to Chad in an almost mocking manner. His attitude quickly changed from a charming man to a rapist fraternity boy and he started dragging Tara upstairs, hurting her and causing her to fall over.
Chad pulled him down and they got into a fight, until Sam came in and tased Frankie in the testicles. Frankie started yelling at her and people started filming.
As the group (Sam, Tara, Anika, Ethan, Chad and Mindy) left, Sam and Tara got into a fight. Sam was trying to protect Tara, but Tara was upset because sometimes she did not want to be protected. Tara was mad at Sam, not for stopping Frankie, but for intervening in her life more than she wanted to. She told Sam that she could hookup with whoever she wanted and stormed away.
Later that night, back at Quinn, Sam and Tara's apartment, Chad and Tara had a conversation. Tara thanked Chad for intervening and not letting her go up those stairs. Chad called Frankie a rapist, and him and Tara had a sweet moment together before Quinn came in.
Trivia[]
- Frankie is the first villain in the franchise who received his karma in a way that doesn't involve any form of death or imprisonment. It also makes him the second villain in the franchise so far to survive the installment he appears in, predated by the Third Killer.
- It’s unknown if Frankie’s nickname was given to him in the moment by Chad or if it’s actually his reputation around school and he’s assaulted other girls.
- He's the only villain in the movie who isn't related to Richie Kirsch in any way, whether by motive or by proximity.
- Frankie is arguably the least heinous villain in the movie due to his short screen-time and not killing anyone. Ironically, it actually makes him more jarring to the audience than the killers, because the average person is more likely to have troubles with a person like Frankie than with any of the Ghostfaces.
- He is the fourth villain in the Scream franchise who isn’t actually a killer, proceeding John Milton, Haley Meyers and Vince Schneider,
