Freddie Lee Cobb is one of the two main antagonists of the 1996 crime drama movie A Time To Kill (the other being Rufus Buckley).
He was portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland, who also portrayed Bob Wolverton in Freeway, David in The Lost Boys, John "Ace" Merrill in Stand By Me, Senator Quintas Corvus in Pompeii, Jonathan Kendrick in A Few Good Men, The Caller in Phone Booth, and Bosco in Marmaduke.
Biography
Freddie Lee and his brother Billy Ray are violent white supremacists and members of the Mississippi Ku Klux Klan. Billy Ray and Pete Willard rape a young African-American girl named Tonya Hailey, provoking her father, Carl Lee, to kill them; as a result, Freddie Lee swears revenge. He calls Carl Lee's lawyer, Jake Brigance, and makes death threats against him.
Freddie Lee and his fellow Klan members kidnap Brigance's love interest Ellen Roark and torture her by stripping her naked, tying her to a post and whipping her.
