The French President is the overarching antagonist of "The HΩmega Man", a segment of the Simpsons episode "Treehouse of Horror VIII".
As his name suggests, he is the president of France who destroys Springfield with a neutron bomb after Mayor Quimby made an offensive joke about France, causing everyone to perish in the blast, except Homer, who was inside the Withstand-inator. However, it is later revealed that his family had also survived the explosion due to their house's paint protection.
Biography[]
Offended of the joke Mayor Quimby made to his country, the French President launches a neutron bomb towards Springfield, passing by Kang and Kodos' spaceship before landing directly on the city, causing a massive explosion that seemingly eradicates everyone in Springfield, except Homer, who was hiding in the Withstand-inator during the blast.
Despite not being seen again, his actions had a major impact on Springfield, as the bomb caused some of Springfield's inhabitants to become bloodthirsty mutants, who now want to eat Homer's skin. However, after they chased Homer to the Simpsons house, they are all killed after trying to make peace with the normal humans.
