The French Revolutionary Ambassador was a minor antagonist in Blackadder The Third. His first and only appearance was in the third episode: "Nob and Nobility".
He was portrayed by Chris Barrie who also portrayed Arnold Rimmer in Red Dwarf and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor in Spitting Image.
Biography[]
He is first seen walking up to Blackadder, Baldrick and "the Comte de Frou-Frou" after explaining what happens to those who obstruct revolutionary justice he captures and imprisons them. After taunting them some more and saying why he hate the English, he leaves. soon afer he returns and take away the Comte de Frou-Frou to torture him. The next mourning he introduces "Madame Guillotine" to Blackadder and Baldrick, who them tells him how "she" intends to kill them and it makes him sick and he leaves the room.
Personality[]
He is a very unapologetic man and is happy to cause pain to others. But he is also deep down insecure about his romantic life and hates the English for various reasons.
