The Frog Monster is a mysterious frog-themed monster who steals jewels and the main antagonist of episode 7 of The Kagestar.
It would later be revealed to be a disguise worn by Yachiyo Ayakoji, the mother of Suzuko's friend Takako.
She is portrayed by Akiko Taumi and voiced by Terue Nunami, who also voiced Bee Woman in Kamen Rider and Baracular in the same series.
Biography[]
Yachiyo Ayakoji was a wealthy individual who dressed as "Frog Monster" and used her monster guise to steal jewels while pinning them on legends of a frog monster that haunted her residence. Kageo and Suzuko eventually went to investigate, leading Yachiyo to get her daughter and butler to dress up as a skull-themed figure and the Combatmen Leader in order to assist her taking them out. All three were defeated by Kagestar and Bellestar and promptly unmasked before being sent to prison.
Frog Monster returns as a part of the Satan Empire's army.
However, at some point Yachiyo was presumably freed by the Satan Empire and turned back into the Frog Monster before being recruited to join their army of monsters for a final attempt to kill Kagestar and Bellestar. Frog Monster was part of the monsters Todogirasu brought with him to attack Kagestar. The monsters were able to defeat Kagestar and freeze him, but he was saved by Kagerobee and unfrozen by Bellestar.
After Doctor Satan and Todogirasu kidnapped Kageo and Suzuko's child friends, Kiba Inoshishi and the other 9 monsters that had been brought back faced Kagestar and Bellestar again. Frog Monster fought Bellestar and was defeated by her with her "Belle Kick", which sent her onto the pile of defeated monsters.
