Frostbite Spiders are minor antagonists in The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.
They are gigantic spiders native to the province of Skyrim and it's neighbouring islands, Bleakrock Isle & Solstheim that usually dwell within various caves and ruined forts and use their webs and poisonous fangs to capture and devour unsuspecting creatures.
Biography[]
A species of giant Spider that is native only to Skyrim, Bleakrock Isle & Solstheim, the Frostbite Spider earns it's name thanks to it's signature Frostbite Venom, which can paralysed their victims long enough to be cocooned in webs and devoured. While willing to go out into the wilderness and hunt food, the Frostbite Spiders primarily dwell within caves and ruined forts, seemingly taking advantage of travellers using them for shelter.
Despite their seemingly savage nature, the Frostbite Spiders seemingly have enough intelligence to be able to be domesticated. This is shown by the Falmer, who have managed to achieve this along with domesticating Chaurus, large arthropods also found deep below Skyrim.
Powers & Abilities[]
Frostbite Spiders have the power to posison their victims while hostile, they also have sharp claws and are proficent in combat.
Appearance[]
Frostbite Spiders are mostly, huge, though size can very, they are brown and have legs like a normal spider.
