Fu Tei is an antagonist and recurring supporting antagonist in the historical seinen anime and manga series, Kingdom.
Personality[]
As the opposite of his comrade's Kaine's seriousness, Fu Tei is an easy-going young man who jokes around even in the midst of an intense battle. He considers himself superior, as he speaks for himself in the third person using the honorific - sama/lord.
He also has absolute faith in his abilities and skills as he aims to become one of the Three Great Heavens.
Biography[]
While his early life and history is still unknown, Fu Tei joined the Zhao Military at around his early teens and quickly rose through the ranks due to his incredible talents as a soldier. His abilities would eventually catch the eyes of Ri Boku as the Great General took him underneath his wing as a vassal.

Physical Abilities[]
- Master Swordsman: Exceptionally quick and always baiting, Fu Tei wields his twin dao blades with considerable flashy skill as he easily one of the best in the state of Zhao. During the Battle of Sai, he easily dispatched both the Hi Shin Unit's 100-Man Commanders Ryuu Sen and Den Yuu within seconds and demonstrated his quick-witted reflexes and precision as he targeted Shin's exposed areas during their duel.
Trivia[]
- Fu Tei's character appears to be based on the real historical general, Fu Di. However, there seems to be some differences as his historical counterpart was already a general in 240 B.C.
- In the years following the Coalition Arc, it was unknown if Fu Tei had been promoted past the rank of 3000-commander, but it can be assumed since Ri Boku had given him larger tasks such as looking over the transfer of over 10,000 troops and the taking of Ou Sen's head, he mostly attained the rank of at least a 4000-Man Commander or 5000-Man Commander.
- Fu Tei wears a scarf to protect his nose and mouth from allergens.
