Stop! Don't do it child! Stealing that one cookie will lead you down a dark path, to a life of crime! Filled with devastation and heartbreak! Trust me, I'm you from the future!
~ Ronald's speech to his past self.

Future Ronald is the main antagonist of the Cyanide and Happiness skit "Cookie Jar". He is a time-traveling thief from the future.

He was voiced by Dave McElfatrick.

Biography[]

In the skit, a child presumably named "Ronald" was getting ready to steal a cookie jar. Suddenly, a time machine appeared and an old figure walked out. He warned the child that stealing that one cookie will lead him to a life of crime. He then pulled out a red futuristic gun and made the child hand over the cookies. He took them and with a cookie in his mouth he reminded the child that he shouldn't end up like him. The scenes perspective changes to showing the second house's window through past Ronald's. It showed that Future Ronald had teleported to the second house and warned the child not to waste his life watching television. After his warning, he threatened the child like he did in the last house, this time asking for the television.

Appearance[]

Future Ronald appears to have an emaciated form, having his ribs visible through his dirty brown shirt. He is wearing a black trench coat, Caucasian skin, and grey hair on both his eyebrows and head (which is lumpy and balding). On his wrinkly face, he wears a futuristic eye patch on his right eye.

Personality[]

When he first arrived, uture Ronald delivers his speech in a very theatrical matter. After this, he acts as a sterotypical burglar.

Trivia[]

  • The final scene might have been an implication that Future Ronald was lying to the first child. However, this is unlikely, as he was credited as "Future Ronald".
