The Generation 03, Limited Models, better known as the G03LMs are a subrace of the Nevadeans created from corpses' flesh by the Nexus Core who serve as big foes and minor antagonists in the Madness: Project Nexus series.
Their name is a distortion of the word "golem" and they are about the size of Mag Hank. Most Nexus-affiliated G03LMs wear armor that covers their entire body and makes them immune to bullets.
Personality[]
G03LMs are extremely polite, even to clear enemies that are attacking them. When in combat, they tell the players to stand down or submit to them, but do so in a way that doesn't showcase sadism. When getting attacked, they say that is pointless and to refrain from doing that. When they have a unique speaking part, they often say things regarding trespassing (Ex: “Oh. You have seemed to have wandered the wrong way.”). However, despite their soft-spoken and polite personalities, they can be as bloodthirsty as any other Nevadean, as showcased with Bandit Brutes.
Types[]
Nexus Core[]
G03LM Mk.1s[]
G03LM Mk.1s (MPNC)
G03LM Mk.1 (MPN)
Regular G03LM Mk.1s wear gray armor and typically heavy weaponry such as submachine guns and giant mallets.
In order to kill a Mk.1, his helmet must knocked off using melee or unarmed attacks. Once the helmet is off the G03LM can be killed by attacking his exposed head.
They start appearing halfway through Madness: Project Nexus (Classic). There are usually one or two per stage but both never appear in the same room together.
In MADNESS: Project Nexus, G03LM Mk.1s' appearance drastically changed. Instead of having gray bulletproof armor, they have a giant mask with giant eye holes with wireframes in the back and a chestplate that only covers their front. They often appear in Nexus Core Facility's Endless Mode. A G03LM Mk.I wielding a Dragonslayer can be found in Climb!, where you have to ring the call bell in the first room 55 times to encounter him. You can damage them normally without ripping their mask off.
G03LM Mk.2[]
G03LM Mk.2s (MPNC)
G03LM Mk.2 (MPN)
The G03LM Mk.2s are an elite version of the G03LM Mk.1 unit that acts as a miniboss in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic). One of them appears in stage [1-G] in the story mode and in waves 37+ of Arena Combat Mode. Their armor is exactly the same as the original Mk.1s, but black in coloration with a red trim.
They are killed the same way as a Mk.1, but it is much harder to do so. The Mk.2s have sturdier and more secure armor than a regular G03LM Mk.1, making it harder to knock off their helmet. They are also about three times as strong than their Mk.1 counterparts and, once unmasked, require more ammunition to be taken down. When his mask is cracked, the G03LM will stumble for a moment, before getting ready to attack again.
A G03LM Mk.2 appears at the end of stage [1-G], wielding a mega hammer and minigun. Once he is killed along with any other grunts, the stage ends.
In MADNESS: Project Nexus, G03LM Mk.2s are now the standard G03LM units of the Nexus Core. Their armor is now white and grey and they wear a mask over a part of their helmet similar to a G03LM Mk.1 in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic). The only way to damage him is to use Dissonant weapons, or remove their mask and shoot their head or break their neck.
G03LM Mk.3s[]
G03LM Mk.3
G03LM Mk.3s are G03LMs who only appear in the Sleepwalker Training stage in Arena Mode and The Playground in MADNESS: Project Nexus. They have armor similar to that of G03LM Mk.2s, but in black, gray and red, similar to the Blackguard and the MPN (Classic) G03LM MK.2s. The strategies to defeat them are the same as that of G03LM Mk.2s, just with the difference that the Mk.3s have two Corpus blocks and comes with a halberd and a minigun.
Harmacist Jr.'s[]
Harmacist Jr.
Harmacist Jr.'s are the G03LM version of Harmacists. They appear to have the same outfit of a Harmacist, but they also have bandages in their slightly darker face. In the stages Harmacist Jr.'s appears in, they wield power saws.
G03LM Sleepwalkers[]
G03LM Sleepwalker
G03LM Sleepwalkers are G03 clones who were put in the Sleepwalker Program. Much like their average size counterparts, G03LM Sleepwalkers wear bandages and a metal mask, although G03LMs wear a custom version with metal plates at the sides to properly encase the larger head.
G03LM Sleepwalkers behave almost the same as regular G03LMs with the additional ability to come back to life via an electric shock so long as they are still wearing their mask. Executing a takedown on a dizzy G03LM Sleepwalker allows the character to remove his mask and subsequent takedowns damage or kill him. G03LM Sleepwalkers can also be killed permanently by using shock weapons.
Tower Guards[]
- Main article: Tower Guards (Madness Combat)
Tower Guard
The Tower Guards are a new set of G03LMs appearing in MADNESS: Project Nexus. They dress in a manner similar to a medieval knight, wearing elaborate suits of armor complete with capes and even wield medieval weapons. There are three different types of Tower Guards, and they each wield a different weapon.
Dissonant G03LMs[]
Dissonant GO3LM
Dissonant G03LMs (also called G03LM Mk.Ds) are G03LMs with Dissonance and cybernetic enhancements. They have two megachettes, two Corpus blocks, and an ability to teleport above the player to attack. They can be damaged without removing their armor, explode quickly when killed and only appear in The Playground and in the final Story Mode mission, The Rush.
Bandits[]
Bandit Brutes[]
Bandit Brute
Bandit Brutes are G03LM-sized Bandits who wear trash bag shrouds, rags and car parts as improvised armor. As to be expected, they have more health and hit harder than normal Bandits. They are the alphas for the many splinter groups of Survivors, using their imposing statures to bully lesser Bandits into compliance. Much like other G03LM-type enemies, Brutes will begin to swing wildly with a flurry of punches if they are hit 5 times at close quarters. If this attack dodged, this will tire them out, leaving them open to a takedown attack from behind.
Cyber Bandit Brutess[]
Cyber Bandit Brute
The strongest type of Bandits, Cyber Bandit Brutes show up as wave bosses in The Murder Room stage in Arena Mode and in the Legacy of the S-3LF Eater mission in Story Mode. they don't appear a lot, since there are not a lot of them. They often spawn with alphaware weapons like the Dissonance lancer or Dissonance cannon, but also come with a pair of electric defibrillator paddles for unarmed attacks. Additionally, they can initiate a lethal bull rush attack and charge at players to stun/ragdoll them. Cyber Brutes come with two Corpus blocks, and can perform a charge slam attack when recovering from being knocked down. This feature is shared by one of the two MERC G03LMs, Church. Also, unlike the Bandit Brutes, Cyber Brutes won't unleash a flurry of punches even when getting hit 5 times.
Fanatics[]
Graveseeker Bandits[]
Graveseeker Bandit
Graveseeker Bandits are G03LMs who used to be part of the sector's mining force before becoming the main brute force of the Fanatics cult. They're usually armed with shovels and can charge up attacks or dig onto the ground in order to close the distance with opponent by popping from below.
Others[]
Zombie G03LMs/G03LM Mk.Zs[]
Zombie G03LMs
G03LM Mk.Z
Zombie G03LMs are the zombified G03LMs. They are a part of the Zombie Arena Mode of Madness: Project Nexus (Classic), first appearing after Wave 9. These G03LMs wear dented-up armor and will sometimes spawn, lacking a protective bulletproof helmet.
Like normal G03LMs, zombie G03LMs must have their helmets, if any, knocked off before taking any damage. However, similar to zombies, these G03LMs cannot use weapons and will usually drop them if held. On the other hand, because of their size, zombie G03LMs cannot steal weapons or ammunition from their foes. Like regular G03LMs, they can only used unarmed attacks to knock over and disarm victims, inflicting direct health damage (although the damage inflicted by Zombie G03LM is notably higher compared to regular G03LM). This also makes them different from other zombies, who drain the victims' TAC-Bars before killing them.
Zombie G03LMs return in MADNESS: Project Nexus as the G03LM Mk.Zs, and can only be found in The Haunting of Nevada House Endless Mode in Arena Mode and The Playground. Unlike most Zeds, they can actually use weapons to attack enemies. Unlike most G03LMs, Mk.Zs don't stand still for a while after getting hit 5 times, so they can't be taken down from behind.
Mooshers[]
Moosher
Mooshers are G03LM-sized clones that serve as bosses in Endless Mode of Slaughter Time. They wear the same armor as the G03LM Mk.1 except that it's yellow instead of grey. They wield a special shotgun similar to the Bully's shotgun, but it's larger and fires in 5-round burst instead of 3-round burst.
