Gabriel Ramirez Garcia is a member of the Zeon's elite Cyclops Team and a supporting antagonist in the OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket.
He was voiced by Bin Shimada.
History[]
Garcia was originally the lowest ranked of the Cyclops Team until they were joined by Bernard Wiseman. Garcia and the rest of the Cyclops Team were deployed on a mission to Side 6 to capture or destroy the Earth Federation's top secret prototype Mobile Suit, the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex". After Bernie locates the testing facility of the Alex Gundam with help from Alfred Izuhara, Garcia punches him for taking such a stupid risk.
To get into the Libot base and take the Alex Gundam, the Cyclops Team devises a plan where Garcia, Bernie, and Steiner Hardy would disguise themselves as Earth Federation soldiers while Mikhail Kaminsky distracts the other soldiers of the base in his MS-18E Kämpfer.
However, as they are infiltrating the base, the Earth Federation soldiers discover the Cyclops Team's disguises and their cover is blown. As a gunfight breaks out, Garcia tries to blow up the Gundam Alex, but is wounded before he can do so in the process. Critically injured, Garcia detonates his explosives and kills himself.
