Gaia is a minor antagonist in the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.
She is the main antagonist of Hades' Flashback during the Seventh Round of the Ragnarok Tournament.
Gaia is a Primordial Being and the personification of planet Earth, who unleashed the war called Gigantomachy against the Gods of Olympus because she did not accept Zeus as the new leader of the Gods.
Appearance[]
Gaia have the appearance of a beautiful woman covered in a clear veil. She wears a light dress alongside a dark mask that covers her face. Her clothes are decorated with floral embroidery and she wears various jewels, such as pearl necklaces.
Personality[]
Gaia seems to be a firm and determined Goddess, to the point that, by not accepting Zeus as the new leader of the Gods, she unleashed a war to remove him from his post.
Biography[]
Gaia is a Primordial Goddess and the creator and ruler of the Giants. Following the Titanomachy Tournament, Zeus manages to kill his father Kronos and to become the new leader of the Gods, something that Gaia cannot accept, to the point of unleashing the Giants against the Gods of Olympus thus initiating the Gigantomachy.
Ultimately the Gigantomachy is vanquished by the Greek Gods, with Zeus and the other Gods of Olympus defeating the Giants in Valhalla while Hades defeats the Titans servants of Kronos who had freed themselves from Tartarus and wanted to take advantage of the war to kill the Greek Gods. It is not known what happened to Gaia after the defeat in the Gigantomachy.
Powers and Abilities[]
Divine Physiology and Semi-Immortality: As the Primordial Goddess and leader of the Giants, Gaia is quite powerful, has an unlimited lifespan, does not age, being possibly even older than even Zeus which is older than the Big Bang, and is unable to die of old age. Gaia possesses physical abilities far beyond those of any ordinary Human and her body cannot be harmed by deadly weapons. However, she can be injured and killed by physical attacks with superhuman strength or by Divine Weapons.

- Gaia in the only appearance she made in the Record of Ragnarok series never spoke.
