Gaia is one of the overarching antagonists of image comics franchise Spawn. She is the daughter of the Mother of Existence and mother of both God and Satan. She is the Ruler of the Greenworld.
History[]
Gaia is one of the many children of Mother of Existence and she became the Mother Earth as well as being the mother of Uranos, Chornos as well as the rest of the Titans along with God and Satan. Her youngest son Chronos overthrew his father and became the ruler of Earth. Zeus, Gaia's grandson, would also later overthrow his father. Gaia had since ruled the Greenworld on her own with many followers watching over her sons factions Heaven and Hell compete for Humanity's souls.
She grew tired of it and decided to destroy the world and reset it numerous times just to spite them and teach them a lesson. She also has her own gorup called the Emreald Parlament which includes the Keeper, The Oracle, The Steward, The Navigator and The Bulider. They watch over the Greenworld when Gaia is absent usually dealing with sealing some of her rebelious siblings. She would also recruit Nyx despite being the one who threatened her and makes her a follower alongside Simon, Jim Downing, Cy-gor and Overtkill for her plans to destroy the world and restart it again. She would later meet Al Simmons himself over the revival of Wanda and accepted his wish to revive her under the condition of bringing her soul from the after life. Gaia also feared Spawn's powers would grow and destroy the Earth. She decided to sent Nyx and Downing to retrive the Dead Zones from him while training Simon to become the Kingslayer for her plans against Al.
Powers and Abilities[]
Gaia being a primordial entity and mother of God and Satan she is one of the most powerful entites in the Spawn universe with only her mother above her. She can control the Earth around her and can use magic and grant powers to mortals.

Gaia appears as a skin as part of the Spawn bundle with a different design.
Triva[]
- It was initially known that Gaia was one of Mother's alias but since King Spawn and Scorched she became a seperate being and was intitally thought to be God and Satan's sister but Scorched#16 states that she is their mother instead.
