Galaxy King is an alien invader seeking to conquer Earth and the main antagonist of the 1980 Kamen Rider (Skyrider) film Eight Riders vs. Galaxy King.
He was voiced by the late Tetsuya Kaji.
History[]
Galaxy King commanded an army of mechanical soldiers called the Space Crew who staffed his spaceship, along with his kaijin vanguard Suddendas. Coming to Earth, Galaxy King forms an alliance with Neo-Shocker to destroy the Kamen Riders and conquer Earth. He was later killed when his spaceship exploded.
Powers and Abilities[]
In addition to his spaceship, which could fire powerful laser beams, Galaxy King also possessed the power to teleport and use telepathy to cause explosions.
Trivia[]
- In an early draft of the movie, when it was called Nine Riders vs. Galaxy Great Fortress, he was called the "Galaxy Emperor".
- Years later, Galaxy King would receive an homage in the movie Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO: Movie War Megamax when Foundation X researcher Lem Kannagi transformed into a form called "Super Galaxy King".
